The following day, they prepared for the next destination. Since the distance was short and there were no flights, they planned to take a car. Wu Mengting was momentarily stunned, not knowing how to respond. But inside, she felt a sudden surge of impulse and anticipation, her eyes slightly shining as she looked at Chen Feng. Waiting for what Chen Feng would say. "Let’s forget about that," Chen Feng quickly refused without much hesitation, "I plan to go to Qiongzhou Island next, to see the ends of the sea, then return to Xiu Zhou. Without Little Rui, it certainly loses some charm." Feeling guilty, Sun Xiaorui said, "You’re planning to just end the trip with the last stop." Their previously planned itinerary from north to south had its final destination at the southernmost Qiongzhou Island. "Yeah. Let’s just leave it at that for now. Next time, we’ll have a chance to continue." Chen Feng had initially planned to go straight back to Xiu Zhou, but he was truly fearful of the invisible hand that insisted on tying him and Wu Mengting together. So, to be safe, he planned to travel to Qiongzhou first to evade. Thinking, I’m intentionally flying to such a remote place, see if you can still manage to tie us together.
