When the tour group was boarding their bus to continue elsewhere, Chen Feng didn’t join them. After cycling back to where he parked, he drove to the supermarket for a stroll and bought some things before finally returning home in Red Villa Bay. If it weren’t for the boredom he felt being alone at the East Lake Villa, Chen Feng wouldn’t have preferred coming here. After all, he was more accustomed to living there. Now, it was almost four in the afternoon. After stuffing the takeaway in the fridge, Chen Feng sat on the living room couch and messaged Xiao Ya on WeChat, asking when she’d be back. A few minutes later, Xiao Ya replied that the store was quite busy since it was her first day, and she might finish late, probably around six or seven in the evening. Seeing this, Chen Feng frowned slightly, but he couldn’t really say anything to her. After all, this was a sign of her ambition.
