Chapter 8: Chapter 8: Past And Present - 2 Ivy vented her hatred, frustration, pain, and disappointment by whipping the two couples who had made her life hell in her past life. She was beyond reason and wanted to kill them right then and there. Her bloodlust scared Isla so much that she decided to stay silent and hide in a corner. Yet in her heart, she resented Ivy. ’This b*tch! How can she beat my parents? Once my brother comes back, I will deal with her! Does she think she can get away after beating my parents?’ Isla was clever. She knew that instead of drawing attention, she should stay silent and let the danger pass before coming up with a counterattack. Unfortunately, luck wasn’t on her side. Ivy soon turned her attention to Isla. Isla’s heart skipped a beat, and for a brief moment, she wanted to run away. Instead of hesitating, she decided to put action to her thought and ran toward the door and opened it. However, before she could step out, a hand held her hair and pulled her back inside. "Ahhh! My hair! My hair! You b*tch! Leave it!" She shouted at the top of her lungs in the hopes of attracting the attention of her neighbors. Ivy chuckled; it didn’t take her a single brain cell to realize what Isla was thinking. After all, Ivy had tried the same thing in her previous life to save her skin. ..... "Ahhh! Isla, please... please don’t... I am sorry! I will not look at Silas! Please." Ivy begged as Damian and Serphina held her down. Isla smirked as she heated the knife with a candle flame. The hot knife was sizzling, making Ivy break out in cold sweat. "Mom, pull her shirt, we can’t let others know about her slutty behavior, right?" Isla commented, her innocent face had an evil expression. Ivy was petrified, and in her desperation, she burned the hands holding her down. "Ahhh!" Serphina shouted, and she pulled away, while Damian, too, was scorched by the heat radiating from Ivy’s body. Ivy didn’t apologize. For the first time, she felt as if she wasn’t a part of the family. Hell... she might be their enemy! She made a run for her life and opened the door. With all of her willpower, she shouted, "Help! Help!" Just as she was about to step out, Isla held her hair and dragged her back into the room, while Damian immediately closed the door. "You b*tch! You truly have a lot of guts, huh?" Isla was furious and stabbed her with a scalding knife, causing Ivy to bend and scream in agony. The combination of sharp object cutting her internal organs, followeed by overwhelming heat was too much to bear. That was the first time Ivy wished to die. The pain was too much. She vomited blood and fainted on the spot. Isla, however, wasn’t satisfied; she wanted to harm Ivy more, but the neighbors had already started banging on the door. ........ Ivy dragged Isla back inside and closed the door. And the whipping session started. "Ahh! Stop! You b*tch! You are hurting me! Ah! Stop!" Isla shouted and covered her head as she curled into a ball. With just 2 whips, Isla started to cry, followed by her begging for mercy, "Ivy! Ivy, please! Please stop! Don’t do it anymore! It hurts! It hurts like b*tch!" Her sobbing didn’t faze Ivy at all. Who asked her to be so cruel to Ivy in her previous life? She doesn’t believe in the bullsh*t, ’I won’t take revenge on her since she didn’t hurt me in this life.’ They must die, if she wants to survive! Knock. Knock. The knock on the door interrupted the whipping session. Thinking it was her brother, Isla immediately ran to the door. Ivy didn’t stop her and stared at the door. She wanted to deal with the other idiot, too. The door opened a lean woman with a sharp jaw, creamy hair, black eyes, and a furious aura came into view. Isla didn’t care whether she was on good terms with the woman or not; she hugged the woman and wailed, "Aunt June, help! Please help! My sister has gone crazy! She is beating us! She is beating every one of us!" June was stunned, hearing Isla’s wails, and looked at Ivy, who was staring at the whip in her hand. Then, without hesitation, she shouted, "What the hell? Are you bullying her again?" Isla cried and nodded her head, "Yes! Answer, Aunt June! How dare you bully me!" "I am not blaming Ivy, you b*stard." Aunt June shouted as she shoved Isla away and marched toward Ivy, "Are you okay, Ivy?"
