On the left side there was 35 cans of tomato paste and sauce, 25 cans of meat (tuna, chicken, corned beef), 20 jars of peanut butter (500g each), 15 large containers of protein powder (whey, soy, meal replacement), 10 bottles of multivitamins and supplements, and 60 packs of instant noodles (ramen, udon). If that wasn’t enough, in the center of the room, there were 30 packs of vacuum-sealed cured meats (jerky, salami, sausage), 12 bottles of cooking oil (vegetable and olive oil, 1 L each), and 15 kg of white sugar in multiple containers. After Ivy stored them, she discovered a hidden compartment behind the shelves and triggered it. Inside the compartment was 10 kg of salt in ziplock bags and jars, 20 boxes of flour (5kg each), 12 tins of powdered milk, 6 blocks of vacuum-sealed cheese, 30 chocolate bars and snacks, hoarded neatly in a crate. Just as she was about to leave, her eyes fell on a small shelf in the farthest corner, a shelf full of bottled water, at least 200 bottles (500ml each), and 20 packs of long-life juice. Ivy stored them too, before chuckling, "Wow... the harvest today was indeed bountiful. This Patrick indeed had good connections, huh? Maybe he was 1% of the people who were able to hoard most of the food..." In her previous life, Ivy had left with her family and didn’t know about Patrick’s end. However, she did see him in Talon Base, 5 years later. Even then, he was able to use food to buy girls. "So maybe he still has supplies hidden somewhere else, huh? With that thought, Ivy closed the storage room and made a mental note to discard all of the wooden shelves and take them away later. ’They can be burned during the extreme winter.’ With that thought, Ivy smiled and walked up to Patrick. To Ivy’s surprise, Patrick’s voice remained. ’This b*stard is truly lucky. But I will make him unlucky.’ Ivy thought with a dark smile. "Patrick, dear, are you awake now?" Ivy asked in a sweet voice. Patrick glared at Ivy in hatred and shouted, "You b*tch..." Slap. It was so impactful that Patrick lost one tooth. "I hate it when someone call me b*tch, " Ivy chuckled softly, "Though I am indeed a b*tch, I hate the mirror of truth." With that, she disappeared into Patrick’s room. "You! What are you doing?" Patrick’s panicked voice reached even the master bedroom. After 5 minutes, when Ivy returned, Patrick warned her, "Don’t you dare try anything funny! Your parents know you are here. If they see you disobeying them or abusing me, they will kill you!" "Hahah!" Ivy’s chilling laughter echoed in the living room, turning the atmosphere cold. "Oh, Patrick, do you truly think I fell for your bullsh*t? Thanks to Isla, I can deduce who is acting, and who is not." With that, she wore a pair of gloves and lifted Patrick’s shirt, exposing his colossal, round, watermelon-sized belly with wrinkles. Ivy scrunched her nose in disgust before lighting up the candle and patiently dropping the melting wax drop in his stomach. "Ahh! Ivy, put this away! It’s burning my skin! Ahh! It’s so painful!" Patrick shouted in an agony-filled voice. Tears streamed down his face, and he struggled desperately. Before, Ivy never understood why Patrick loved to see her cry... but now she understood. The sight was indeed healing and relaxing. Unlike Patrick, who had dropped 5 drops to stick the wax candle on her stomach in the previous, Ivy dropped more than 20 drops before sticking the candle. By now, Patrick had lost his previous bravado and tried to guilt-trip her, "Ivy! What have I even done to deserve such punishment? Please let me go, child.
