Chapter 48: Chapter 48: Payback-1 Patrick’s smile deepened, and he sidestepped and let Ivy enter. Looking at her slim build and perfect curves, his eyes lit up. ’Later, when I beat it till they bleed... it would be a fascinating side. Should I take a picture or something to remember it? Ahh! I couldn’t wait!’ Ivy could feel Patrick’s intense gaze, but she pretended to be meek and sat on the sofa. Patrick beamed and said, "I will call your parents and get you a cup of water." Ivy blinked before biting her lips. Her voice came out in a pitiful tone, "Can you first give me water? I am parched." Patrick’s eyes lit up, and he thought in his heart, ’I will mix the drug in her glass, and pretend to call her parents. By the time she would realize that something is amiss...it would be too late.’ "Is that so? You should have told me earlier. I will get it for you." Patrick’s kind expression might have betrayed anyone, but Ivy, who had seen his cruel side for a week, knew better. With a swift move, Patrick entered the kitchen, took out the drugs hidden in one of the jars labelled as ORS, poured two spoons of it in the glass before filling it with water. After mixing it well, Patrick passed the water to Ivy and mentioned in a kind tone, "I see how weak you look, so I made you a glass of ORS. It will give you strength." Ivy stared at the glass with a suspicious look before asking in a hesitant voice, "Really?" "Really, dear. I have been living in this residential area for so long, I won’t harm you." Patrick assured her and watched in anticipation as Ivy drank it in one gulp. His hanging heart was finally relaxed, and all the suspicions he held toward Ivy’s sudden arrival vanished at that moment. He took his phone and pretended to call Ivy’s parents. "Hello? Magnus? You have sent Ivy here? No? Ah! She said that she wants to give you all a surprise by being here. Okay. I will tell her." Then he ’hung up’ the call and looked at Ivy with a smile, "Your parents said they are delighted and promised to give you a reward once you return." A joyful smile appeared on Ivy’s face, and she stood up, "Really? Then, how about I start by doing something for you? They said they wanted to send me here so that you can discipline me. How about I start with making you something?" Before Patrick could interrupt, Ivy clapped her hands, "I can make you a cup of ORS like you did!" Patrick’s smile faltered, and he paused, "That won’t be necessary..." Ivy wilted at a visible rate and bit her lips, "I truly want to do something for you..." Her eyes moistened, and she looked at Patrick with pleading eyes. ’She is so harmless! Why not just let her do whatever she wants? She will faint soon!’ With that thought, he nodded and said, "Since you don’t know much, I will lead you to the kitchen and help you." Ivy nodded and followed Patrick into the kitchen, where Patrick took out the true ORS jar, which was labelled OORS(Original ORS). He personally oversaw the entire process and watched with his eyes as Ivy mixed the powder. ’I was thinking too much.’ Patrick finally relaxed. Suddenly, the spoon in Ivy’s hand dropped down. Ivy gave an embarrassed smile, "Sorry... I will..." Patrick smiled and bent down to pick up the spoon, and immediately looked at the glass. Seeing that there wasn’t any additional powdery substance floating on the surface, he heaved a sigh of relief. ’You are being too paranoid, Patrick! Only a few seconds have passed, what could she even do in 3 seconds?’ "Oh, right! How about adding sugar?" Ivy proposed. "It will taste bland. The ORS you gave me was a bit bland." She even stuck out her tongue cutely. "Okay," Patrick agreed. Ivy then proceeded to add two spoons of sugar, and once she was done, she passed it to Patrick, who drank it. Though it was too sugar and Patrick could hardly make out any taste. Once done, he placed the glass on the counter and saw Ivy swaying suddenly. ’It’s working! Finally!’ Patrick thought with an excited expression. As Ivy was about to fall on the ground, Patrick held her quickly. "Ivy, are you okay?" "Patric...Patrick... I... am feeling... dizzy..."Ivy muttered before falling unconscious. Patrick patted Ivy’s face a few times and called her out. When she remained unconscious, he was delighted and laughed before dragging her to the living room and dropping her on the floor. Then he went to the cupboard area and took out chains. Tying them around her hands, he panted a little and sat on the sofa, "Haha! I got a submissive for free!" He coughed for a while before falling sleeping. Ivy was lying on the floor, opened her eyes, and stared at Patrick with a chuckle. She entered the storage and came out again. The chains around her hands and legs had been untied. Ivy whistled, "Nice planning, Ivy." When Patrick gave her ORS water, she had stored it in her space and replaced it when she made one for Patrick. To make sure he doesn’t detect the taste, she put extra sugar. Walking toward him, she whistled the entire time and dragged him down, then she tied him and went to his room. After searching for a while, she found the injection and drug solution. On reaching beside Patrick, Ivy injected the solution. Seeing him open his eyes faintly, Ivy smiled at him like an angel, "You will feel amazing, Patrick. Though this drug has not passed the trial testing, I am damn sure it will work very well. I will enjoy inflicting pain on you, going forward." Patrick struggled slightly, but Ivy slapped him hard, "Don’t you dare move till I give you permission!"
