Chapter 13: The Chakra Unlocks Luke was sitting crossed leg on the floor of his room in the upper floor. Both Roger and Noah were out and he was alone in the house. Placed in front of him, the book he got from Glenn was opened wide. At first, he couldn’t understand a single word on those ancient, brown and rough pages as the language was something ancient, but after a few moments, the words started rearranging and transforming themselves and became the language used in the continent. Luke was shocked, he was now understanding and taking this mysterious book as well as his ancestor seriously, who had given him such a valuable treasure. "So that’s what it is!" Luke said in understanding as he started reading page after page. According to this method, instead of circles, chakras will become the medium of cultivation. They are similar in look to the magic circles but are of different runes and patterns. The chakras are present in every being, but their knowledge and understanding are not present in the conscious. There are seven chakras in the body and they manifest at the back of the body. The method includes unlocking these chakras in the body and use them for cultivating prana. The first chakra that can be unlocked and manifested is at the sacrum region, it is the ’Svadhistana’ chakra. The details about the rest of the chakras were still in the ancient language, which Luke was unable to read. He followed the book and put both of his hands above the knees and touched the thumb with the middle finger in both of his hands. He closed his eyes and started chanting a ’mantra’ as specified in the book. He didn’t understand what it meant, but as he kept on chanting, he started understanding the meanings and slowly he went deep into his consciousness, he went into the state of nothingness. His mouth kept on chanting as slowly the mantra became the sound of humming and after a few seconds, his lips closed themselves, but the humming of the mantra kept on reverberating in the air and the sound went loud with time. If someone else would have been in the room, he would have been shocked to hear humming sounds coming from nowhere. Soon the light from the room dimmed themselves, the air started getting heavy, the cosmos was starting to form inside the room as if he had teleported to the infinite nothingness of the universe. The humming echoed in the room and also in his consciousness, the mantra slowly melted in his consciousness, becoming his desire, his goal and his ultimate truth to existence. ’I am for a matter, dust from the vast cosmos, for my soul is the truth in this body of lie. Let me connect to your will and be under your shade. Let me harness that which is just but a speck in your vast domain.’ An amber ancient runic circle with sunflower petals like pattern around the circumference started forming behind his back just below the naval region. Green prana in the air started condensing and being sucked by the chakra. After accumulating some prana, the chakra started rotating fast, more and more prana started being sucked in. His body started glowing up as the prana that came in passed through his blood and stared getting engulfed by his cells. Luke started feeling pain. His body started heating up and glowing amber. Abruptly, he opened his eyes. The pain was starting to get unbearable. The shattered circle around his heart started cracking more, and after a few seconds it shattered completely into dust and was sucked in by the chakra itself, transforming into more prana. The shattering of the circle sent a wave of unbearable pain in his body. "AAHHRGHHHH!!!!" Luke screamed in pain. He felt his body was burning from the inside. The clothes he was wearing started burning, charred black and turned into dust, leaving him naked and rolling around on the floor in pain. ’I’ll die if this continues. I have to contain this energy somewhere!’ Amid the pain, he got up and sat crossed legged again, he put his hands on the knees and touched the thumb and middle finger, going into the meditative state again. He concentrated all the prana that his body was unable to hold at the moment towards his back. Amber glows started forming as a circular pattern was being burnt and engraved on his back, all the prana started flowing towards the pattern and the glow intensified. Luke was starting to lose consciousness slowly as the pain was starting to become unbearable. "AARRRGGHHH!!!!" he screamed loud as the glow of the pattern intensified, brightening up the whole room. With a last scream, he lost his consciousness and fainted. The chakra stopped spinning and vanished inside his body. A circular patterned tattoo got engraved on his back as if someone had burned the pattern on his body. The room started getting normal, the heavy air subsided, the humming of the mantras stopped and the vast cosmos vanished. His room was back to normal again. After an hour his eyes opened slowly, he stood up gingerly and suddenly started getting a weird and dirty smell. He looked around and saw that his whole body was covered in a black gooey and sticky substance which was the reason of such smell. Infusing prana in the cells threw out all the impurities and toxins in the body. He took some new clothes from the bag and ran towards the bathroom. After properly washing for at least three times, the smell went away and he came out of the bathroom. Finally, when he was in his room, he felt his body had become something else, his skin got a shade brighter, his hair had turned crimson and eyes had a slight tint of red. His muscles were roaring to stretch and move. He felt power surging through them. A sigh escaped him and he tried to feel the prana that was now present in his body. It was quite the nervous and emotional moment for him, the thing that he tried to acquire all these years was finally in his grasp. Luke balled his fist and moved his arm up and channeled the prana towards his fist. The fist started glowing amber and his fist started having a tingling feeling, screaming to throw a punch. ’’The Emitter realm. So, this is the first realm of the chakra cultivation! Then I’m like a first circle fighter mage now!’ he realized as information about his realm popped inside his mind. Luke couldn’t endure anymore and his excitement rose as he swung his arm and punched the wall in his room with the prana infused fist. BOOM! A large hole formed on the wall as cracks spread throughout the wall. A large chunk of the wooden wall blasted off in the air and fell on the road and slid off a few meters, missing a dwarf walking by the side of the road by an inch. ’Shit! Uncle will kill me!’
