The family was almost back to the size they had before their conflict with the Li family. On the seventh day, the gray fruits on the tree lost their bright colour and turned completely gray. The marks on the fruits became more distinct as if the ancestors were still present. To an outsider, however, it would look eerie. Following Chen Xingzhen's orders from the previous days, not many clan members disturbed the Divine Tree. Only Chen Tianjing and a few other Blood Coagulation Realm warriors visited the Ancestral Hall at night to pay respects to their ancestors.  After all, the gray fruits on the tree contained not only Chen Qingyu's father but also other elders from the family. By the seventh evening, the gray fruits on the tree had undergone minimal changes. At this moment, Ji Yang was completely focused on observing these spirit-condensed gray fruits, curious to see what they would look like when they were fully ripe. Upon closer examination, he noticed something different about these gray spirits. The untransformed gray spirits were tattered and worn, their entire bodies a dull gray.  In contrast, the newly condensed gray spirits appeared solid, with an overall hue that was more ashen than gray. There was something distinct about them, something that momentarily escaped his memory. As he pondered this, the other gray fruits on the branches couldn't contain themselves any longer. Like raindrops, they fell to the ground. Before each fruit touched the ground, it transformed into a new figure---a multitude of gray figures now filled the Ancestral Hall. However, these figures remained invisible to others. As Ji Yang observed the gray spirits, a realization dawned on him. These spirits were different.  They possessed a new quality---cognition.  These gray spirits seemed more agile, showing signs of thinking. Ji Yang could see consciousness in their eyes. But why? As the first gray spirit touched the ground, an elderly spirit raised a hand to his forehead, furrowing his brow in contemplation.  His lips formed the three fundamental questions of existence:  "Who am I?" What's happening to me? What's going on?" Inside the Ancestral Hall, the living clan members remained oblivious, but above them, Ji Yang heard the collective perplexity of the spirits. Ji Yang now understood the purpose of his Spirit Condensing ability. It solidified the spirits of the dead, allowing them to regain their memories from their past lives.  Unfortunately, this power was tied to the Chen Clan and could only be accessed by members of their bloodline.  Even after being condensed, these spirits remained intangible, invisible to the living. What purpose could such spirits serve? Ji Yang paid no attention to the numerous spirits below, instead pondering the possible implications of their restored memories. "Xingba, is that you?" Chen Changming's gaze fixed on a familiar spirit nearby, his expression changing from confusion to excitement. He couldn't help but approach. Upon hearing Chen Changming's call, the memories within the other three souls gradually sharpened. When they saw Chen Changming, their excitement knew no bounds, and they shouted: "Father!" The three approaching figures recognized each other's faces, their expressions even more emotional: "Big Brother!"  "Second Brother!"  "Younger Brother!"  "Eldest Brother!" "Cousin? Is it really you?"  "Father, it is incredible to see you here!"  "Third Uncle, did you die too?"  "Nephew, you're here too!" The restored memories of the Chen clan members led to a chaotic exchange.
