Chen Tianquan looked down at his child, his voice turning gentle. "Qingcheng, be good for your mother, alright? Don’t be naughty." The baby cooed, reaching a tiny hand toward him. "When I come back," he added with a smile, "I'll bring you something fun." With one last lingering glance, he turned and walked away. As much as he wanted to stay, his duty to the clan came first. Only by strengthening the clan could he ensure a better future for his son. … That morning, dozens of martial artists packed their supplies and left the clan hall. Even Chen Qingyu, despite just returning, joined them. Given his strength, his presence would help speed up the construction.
