After King Arthur and Lancelot reunited, the two stood silently in front of each other, their exchange filled with unspoken emotions. Lancelot: "Please... kill me." King Arthur: "I can't." Lancelot: "It's my atonement." King Arthur: "You are not at fault." Lancelot: "I beg you, my King!" King Arthur: "No. I refuse." Their standoff continued, emotional and unresolved. From a distance, one of Zenkichi's clones watched, visibly frustrated. He communicated with his true body and activated a Command Spell. Under the spell's influence, Lancelot charged toward King Arthur, sword drawn, despite the horror in his eyes. "No!" Lancelot shouted internally. He never entered the Holy Grail War to fight the King he once served. "You've taken the initiative, haven't you?" King Arthur said calmly, raising Excalibur to defend herself. "Yes," Lancelot replied bitterly, "I never thought he'd do something like this." King Arthur frowned. "He's powerful, but this... this is beneath him." From afar, Zenkichi's clone frowned. He activated the second and third Command Spells. Lancelot, now fully overwhelmed by magical compulsion, roared as an enormous surge of magical energy burst from his body. "No!" he screamed, powerless to resist. King Arthur responded with her full strength, unleashing a radiant wave of power that split the sky. Lancelot, finally at peace, charged toward her without hesitation. Her counterattack consumed his technique—and his body. "Thank you, Master..." Lancelot whispered with a smile before disintegrating into light. --- Meanwhile, at the Tohsaka residence... Zenkichi held Tohsaka Aoi in his arms as she trembled from grief. He sighed and said, "When the Greater Holy Grail is summoned, I'll let you make a wish. Whether or not it brings Tokiomi back will depend on your luck." Aoi's eyes widened. "You're serious?" "Of course," Zenkichi replied. "But if I give you this chance, I expect something in return." Rin immediately grew suspicious. "You pervert! What are you planning?" Zenkichi chuckled . "Relax, I'm not after your mom. I just want you both to be my goddaughters." Tohsaka Aoi hesitated, then slowly nodded. She couldn't find a reason to refuse. Rin stood by, fuming in silence. She glared at Zenkichi, but he paid her no mind. He led them to the Great Holy Grail's chamber, where King Arthur stood solemnly beside a blood-eyed Emiya Kiritsugu. "Disappointed?" Zenkichi asked King Arthur with a slight grin. "I entered this war hoping to redeem my former comrades," she replied, glancing at Zenkichi. He tapped his chin thoughtfully. "If you recognize me as your godfather, I could bring them back." "Don't even dream of it!" she snapped. "A king's dignity is not for sale!" Zenkichi smirked. "Is that so? I have other ways of resurrecting them." "The Holy Grail War will return in 60 years," King Arthur said firmly. "You won't be around to interfere. I'll use the next one to make my wish." Zenkichi said nothing, only smiling cryptically. Just then, the light of the Grail twisted with a dark hue. The evil of the world began seeping from its core. "What is this...?" Kiritsugu muttered in horror. The Holy Grail he had entrusted with his hope for peace—now radiated darkness. "It's been corrupted," King Arthur said gravely. "I don't care," Kiritsugu insisted. "It can still grant my wish!" Zenkichi stared at the Black Holy Grail. "Maybe. But at what cost?" "World peace!" Kiritsugu declared, and the Grail responded to his desire. A surge of twisted light erupted from the Grail, forming a great flame that swallowed the surroundings. The corrupted Grail, in its twisted logic, fulfilled Kiritsugu's wish in the worst way possible—by interpreting peace as the eradication of all conflict through global annihilation. "No you don't," Zenkichi growled. He released a crushing wave of spiritual pressure that forced everyone back. Then, channeling his power, he blocked the Grail's destructive surge. In his hand, the Hōgyoku pulsed with strange hunger. It resonated with the tainted Grail—drawn to it like a predator sensing prey. "So... you want it?" Zenkichi muttered, surprised. Without hesitation, he allowed it. A massive vortex of energy erupted from the Hōgyoku, pulling the Black Grail into its core. The evil flames were consumed, devoured completely by the crystal's limitless hunger. "It's over..." Zenkichi whispered, surveying the room. He glanced at his system panel—Whitebeard's template was only 62% unlocked. There was still work to be done. --- The Holy Grail War ended. Emiya Kiritsugu, broken and defeated, withdrew into isolation. His dream of saving the world had betrayed him. Zenkichi, however, left with several new "goddaughters" in tow. But now, he faced a new dilemma—none of them were usable. After spending over a year in the Fate universe without romance, his loneliness had reached its limit. Unfortunately, Tohsaka Aoi and Irisviel had only just lost their husbands, making it inappropriate to make a move. King Arthur, though tempted by his persistent offerings of good food, still held firm to her morals. Tohsaka Rin and Tohsaka Sakura were too young—clearly off-limits. With a sigh, Zenkichi checked his system and selected to return to the Naruto World. "I wonder how much has changed since I left..." --- Back in the Naruto world, now designated World No. 1... Zenkichi sat leisurely on Tsunade's lap, flipping through reports from across the Five Great Nations. Everything that had happened during his absence was there in front of him.
