Of course, strength dictated hierarchy among soul beasts. The weaker ones remained at the outskirts, while the stronger ones pushed forward toward Snow Empress. Boom! Boom! Boom! Thunderous footfalls echoed like an earthquake through the air. Huo Yuhao spotted a massive white bear and an enormous Titan Snow Demon charging toward them at full speed. Wherever they stepped, the icy ground caved beneath their weight, leaving deep footprints. Compared to the composed Titan Snow Demon, the giant white bear moved with a more erratic, playful energy it even began bouncing around as it ran. "Ice Bear King and Titan Snow Demon King," Huo Yuhao murmured to himself, recalling what he knew about these two powerful beasts. The former had a straightforward and naive personality, often doing amusing things, whereas the latter, though limited in vision due to its prolonged isolation in the Extreme North, had far superior mental resilience compared to the Ice Bear King. In many ways, Ice Bear King was like an overgrown child. "Snow Empress!" Titan Snow Demon King called out respectfully, before lowering itself into a seated position, looking up at her with reverence. "A Tai," Snow Empress acknowledged with a nod. Ice Bear King, on the other hand, was far less formal. It rushed straight to Snow Empress, rolling on the ground playfully, acting nothing like a fearsome 200,000 year old beast. Instead, it resembled an affectionate puppy. Snow Empress smiled warmly, reaching out to pat Ice Bear King's head. "Xiao Bai, I feel like you've put on weight again. Last time I saw you, you weren't this round." Ice Bear King froze, then immediately started wondering if it had indeed gained weight. What if Snow Empress distanced herself because of it?
