"Morning, Hinata." Kitazawa opened the door and found a small figure waiting outside. "Good morning, Kitazawa-sensei," Hinata said quickly, rising to her feet. "Relax. Come sit and chat." Kitazawa crossed the room and sat opposite her. He unfurled a storage summoning scroll and began pulling out the breakfast he’d bought, placing items one by one on the table. "Congratulations on earning first place in your class—and first in the entire grade." He handed her a rice ball, smiling warmly. "It’s all because of your help, Kitazawa-sensei," Hinata said, taking the rice ball gently in her small hands. Her tone was earnest. "Thank you so much." "No need to thank me." Kitazawa reached out and gave her cheek a light pinch. Hinata froze, her eyes going wide. Then she instinctively lowered her gaze, a soft blush blooming across her face. "There’s one more thing I need to tell you," Kitazawa said, taking a bite of his own rice ball. "Have you ever heard of the Outstanding Student Representative?" "No... I haven’t," Hinata said, her voice barely a whisper. "This Friday, the school will be holding an awards ceremony," Kitazawa explained. "They’ll choose one student to give a speech in front of everyone." "You... you don’t mean...?" Hinata’s eyes grew even wider as realization dawned, her words tripping over themselves in panic. "You guessed right." Kitazawa gave her a gentle smile. "The Hokage has chosen you to be the Outstanding Student Representative for this ceremony." "Eh?" Hinata’s pupils contracted. Her? Delivering a speech? And in front of the entire student body? "N-no, I can’t possibly do that!" Hinata exclaimed, waving her hands frantically and shaking her head. She looked utterly terrified. "Hinata." Kitazawa reached over and gently took her hand. "Why not?" "I..." Hinata felt a sudden warmth radiating from his hand into hers. She stared down at it, silent for a few moments. Somehow, her panic began to fade, replaced by a shy calm. "I’m worried I’ll mess it up..." she admitted softly, her ears turning red. "Then you’ll work hard to do your best." Kitazawa spoke gently. "If you never try, you’ll never know how well you could do." Hinata opened her mouth, hesitating. But another voice whispered in her mind: ’Try. Don’t disappoint Kitazawa-sensei.’ "There’s still five days left, plenty of time to prepare," Kitazawa encouraged her with a small grin. "And if it really doesn’t work out, we can always find someone else at the last minute." "O-okay..." Hinata finally said, her resistance crumbling. "Good. Spend the next couple of days drafting your speech," Kitazawa told her, noticing that even the pale skin of her neck was tinged pink. "Mhm." Hinata nodded, taking a slow, deep breath—though her nerves still twisted inside her. Her mind felt completely blank. "For now, eat." Kitazawa set a glass of milk in front of her. "After class, you can head to the office to work on your draft." Hinata nodded again, a little shy but comforted. After breakfast, they made their way to the Class A classroom. "Kitazawa-sensei!" A voice rang out excitedly as Naruto bounded over. "Naruto, what’s got you so hyped up this morning?" Kitazawa asked, approaching him. "It worked! My new Transformation Jutsu finally worked!" Naruto exclaimed, eyes sparkling. ’Already?’ Kitazawa raised an eyebrow, but then realized it wasn’t so surprising. The Transformation Jutsu was just an E-rank jutsu, and the Sexy Jutsu was merely a spin-off of it. Given that Kakashi was an elite Jonin—a genius among geniuses—a mere E-rank jutsu would be child’s play for him. And, well... it was definitely the kind of jutsu that would be right up Kakashi’s alley. "I’ll show you right now!" Naruto said eagerly. "Kitazawa-sensei, prepare to be amazed!" "Wait—!" Kitazawa blurted, stopping him with an outstretched hand. ’If he uses the Sexy Jutsu right here in the classroom, my entire teaching career could go up in smoke!’ "Save your demonstration for after class," Kitazawa said firmly. Kitazawa thought for a moment and said, "Alright. You can show me at the training ground instead." "...Fine." Naruto’s shoulders slumped a little. He’d been eager to show off in front of the entire class. Kitazawa, meanwhile, sighed in relief. Disaster—and possibly his teaching license—averted. The first class of the day was about the Will of Fire. Before it began, Kitazawa pulled Sasuke aside. "After class, come to the training ground," he said. Ordinary students weren’t allowed to skip lessons. But Sasuke, like Hinata, was talented enough that missing a class or two wouldn’t hold him back. After the bell rang, Kitazawa led Naruto and Sasuke out to the school’s training grounds. "Can I show it now?!" Naruto asked, practically vibrating with excitement. "Show what?" Sasuke asked, lifting a brow. "My brand-new Transformation Jutsu!" Naruto announced proudly. "A jutsu I invented myself!" "...What?" Sasuke blinked, stunned. He couldn’t wrap his head around Naruto—Naruto—inventing ninjutsu. Sasuke himself, a so-called genius, hadn’t even come close to creating his own Jutsu. Seeing the normally cool and collected Uchiha Sasuke look so rattled made Naruto puff up with even more enthusiasm. "Sasuke, better close your eyes," Kitazawa warned. "Why? Is there something I’m not supposed to see?" Sasuke widened his eyes instead. "Watch closely!" Naruto declared. He formed hand signs. Chakra surged around him—and suddenly, his body shimmered and morphed. A burst of smoke cleared to reveal... A golden-haired, blue-eyed, completely naked beauty, striking a provocative pose. Kitazawa merely pinched the bridge of his nose. He’d been expecting this. Sasuke, however, looked like he’d just witnessed a murder. His eyes went wide. His entire face turned crimson—and then his nose exploded in a gush of blood. "Ta-dah! What do you think, Kitazawa-sensei?!" Naruto spun in place, hair and curves bouncing dramatically. "First—turn it off. Right now." Kitazawa said, eyes twitching. "Oh! Right, right!" Naruto dispelled the jutsu in a puff of smoke, returning to his normal self. Sasuke staggered backward, still clutching his nose. "You—You created that kind of ninjutsu?!" Sasuke yelled, pointing an accusing finger, his voice shaking. "Are you insane?!" "Is... something wrong with it?" Naruto asked innocently, scratching his head. Sasuke opened his mouth... then closed it again. He was utterly defeated by Naruto’s clueless sincerity. "...This jutsu is surprisingly effective," Kitazawa admitted after clearing his throat. "But you should only use it in life-or-death emergencies." He’d realized, as Naruto performed the signs, that Naruto had already mastered the so-called Sexy Jutsu. Technically, it was just the Transformation Jutsu with a unique twist. "Alright. You can go back to class," Kitazawa said with a dismissive wave. "See ya, Kitazawa-sensei!" Naruto called over his shoulder as he trotted away. Just then, three lines of text blinked into Kitazawa’s vision: Current Mission: Learn the signature jutsu of your lifelong rival, Uzumaki Naruto—the Sexy Jutsu. Mission Reward: Increase maximum chakra capacity by one-tenth of Kakashi’s chakra capacity. Mission Complete. Reward Issued. Kitazawa felt a sudden surge of power rush through his body. ’This... this is real power.’ Clenching his fists, he relished the feeling. Once he’d adapted to the new chakra capacity, Kitazawa quickly performed a string of hand signs. Sasuke, still pale and recovering from trauma, suddenly stared as a massive fireball formed out of thin air. A roaring sphere of flames, nearly ten meters in diameter, burned so intensely that Sasuke felt as if he were staring into the sun. "Tell me, Sasuke," Kitazawa said calmly, lowering his hands, "do you think this Great Fireball Jutsu could rival your brother’s?" Sasuke gulped, eyes wide. "Y... yeah. Definitely." "Good." Kitazawa nodded. "Now let’s get back to training. Time to teach you about chakra nature transformation for Fire Release. Do you know what defines the fire element?" "Burning?" Sasuke offered after thinking for a moment. "Correct." Kitazawa glanced around and picked up a leaf. He held it out. "Your first exercise is simple: Make it catch fire." Sasuke took the leaf, cradling it in his left hand. He held his right palm above it, brows furrowed in concentration. Slowly, he gathered Fire Release chakra. The leaf dried out under the heat—but it stubbornly refused to ignite.
