They didn't but there was a spark, a new kind of focus. Training had a pulse now. The days of drifting through drills, half-asleep, were gone. For the first time in ages, the squad knew someone was watching, really watching, someone who gave a damn if they got better. Luka Radev was the one to watch. The kid, barely seventeen, had always had raw pace, all energy and instinct, but it used to be a mess, like a firework with no aim.
