Just from a single glance, he could count a dozen homeless bums sitting in the shades offered by the various homes while some were rummaging through garbage bins in search of leftovers. The homes themselves were also heavily in desperate need of renovation, but he could guess that a fancy home was the least of the worries of the people living here.
