"Don’t get stuck fighting; just clear a path toward them and let our mages and archers deal damage while we fend off the monsters!" It wasn’t a glorious battle but pure desperation. On the bright side, his strategy had worked. By protecting their backline, they were allowed to attack the monsters without having to fear for their safety. The ambush lasted longer than Kaiden hoped. By the time the last creature fell, the team was spent.
