Early the next morning, Vera Wave got out of bed. She first went to the restroom to shower, put on the dress she’d prepared the night before, wore her heels, and looked at herself in the mirror by the hallway. Vera immediately beamed a sweet smile, ready to deploy her full arsenal of charm to win over the interviewer.
