He took out a cigarette, strolled onto the lawn, and from afar, through the floor-to-ceiling windows, he spotted Faye holding Miya, chatting about something. Miya looked elated, laughing carefree. He pulled out his phone and dialed Owen Lennon’s number. On the other end, Owen’s voice sounded listless, "Hunter, what’s up?" "Resting?" "Yeah." Owen turned over lazily, not even opening his eyes. "So early?" Hunter checked his watch; it was only nine. "I was up all night with a case and only got back at six this afternoon. Right now, my brain hardly feels like it belongs to me." Hunter chuckled, "Seems like I picked the wrong time to call. Fine, I’ll keep it brief. Tomorrow, when you’re at the office, help me investigate something." "Walter Hansen’s accounts used to be tricky to trace back in the day, but now, look into Sebastian Sheldon’s accounts." "Sebastian? Ugh, what kind of wild goose chase is this now? Clara laughed back, "I should go tell him and bask in some glory. By the way, how are things between you two now? Still quarreling?" Faye shrugged, "Quarreling is something only couples do. I don’t quarrel with him. Our relationship is slowly turning into just being regular friends." "Then my Uncle Oliver must feel terrible about that." "Why? Shouldn’t I be the one feeling bad?" Do you know why Sebastian went to Malaysia to meet Walter Hansen?" Faye shook her head, "No idea. But Hunter is already investigating, so I trust the truth will surface soon." Clara let out a long sigh, "Truth... I wonder when the truth about my car accident will finally come to light. Honestly, I’m dying to know the truth now." "Still no progress?" "None.
