"Why did you call for me?" Admiral Kizaru stood in Fleet Admiral Akainu's office at New Marineford, his usual lazy drawl masking his curiosity. "There's trouble at Egghead. An experiment went out of control and spawned a monster. It's wreaking havoc on the island, and Dr. Vegapunk has requested reinforcements. I've already sent Vice Admiral Doll and her team, but Vegapunk insists it's not enough. He wants an Admiral to step in. You're up." Akainu said. "Alright, I'll head out now." Kizaru didn't hesitate and turned to leave. He and Vegapunk were old friends, and despite his lazy demeanor, Kizaru was no fool when it came to science. 'Clearly, something serious had happened. Vegapunk wouldn't call for an Admiral otherwise. If he was asking for one, it meant Vice Admirals weren't enough.' Kizaru moved quickly. The nearest Marine base, G-14, was only two hours away from Egghead, and he arrived swiftly. During those two hours, Egghead was in the midst of a massive battle between machines and a monstrous being. The island had its own defense systems, including massive combat robots controlled by Vegapunk's satellites, all mobilized to suppress the creature. "Shaka, what the hell are you guys researching? What is that thing?" Atlas shouted angrily. She had charged in and landed a punch, only for the creature to swat her down from the sky with a single swipe. "It's a failed Devil Fruit experiment. Just suppress it for now," Shaka replied. "Even Seastone doesn't work on it, we'll have to use them," Atlas said. "Where's Lilith?" asked Shaka. "She went to activate the program." "What about York?" "Still sleeping, probably." The mutated Regan was growing larger by the minute, now as huge as an Ancient Giant, covered in black hair, and immune to conventional weapons. Sentomaru led a team of Pacifistas in a coordinated attack, but even their laser beams were useless. "What kind of monster did the Doctor create? Why aren't any of our attacks working?" Sentomaru leaped in personally, swinging his axe, infused with Armament Haki. Glop! The monster's body jiggled like gelatin, dispersing the force of his blow, and then bounced it back. Duang! Sentomaru was sent flying by the shockwave. Elsewhere, in a dark room, a cute girl in a purple outfit, with freckles like Ace's, woke up from her nap. "So noisy outside... must be another amazing experiment. Hehe, I should report it." She picked up a Den Den Mushi and began transmitting information. But the explosions had no effect; they only enraged the monster more. It picked up the wreckage of a robot and hurled it at one of the ships. The massive machine slammed into the vessel, crushing it and sending it sinking into the sea after a fiery explosion. The monster roared at the sky. Seeing the sun above enraged it even more. ROAR!!! The sound waves became visible shockwaves. Glass across the island shattered, and many people clutched their ears in agony. "AAAAH! So loud! I can't even sleep!" York stomped her foot in frustration, pouting as she walked to the bathroom. A few moments later, she came back out. "Finally done! Hmph! Lalalala~ time to eat, I'm starving!" Everyone else was scrambling; she alone moved at her own pace. Finally, Shaka emerged with three figures of different sizes from the lab. "So those are the Seraphim... Clones made from Lunarian lineage, fused with the genes of the Warlords. Fascinating," Roy said. "They should be able to buy us time. Borsalino's still en route. The monster you made, let's see what they can do against it. Let's hope nothing goes wrong," Shaka replied. "Perfect. I've been wanting to see them in action," Roy grinned. Shaka gave the order. The three Seraphim were: S-Bear (Kuma), S-Hawk (Mihawk), and S-Flamingo (Doflamingo), clearly the more successful clones. "Go, eliminate the target!" The Seraphim looked up. S-Bear opened his hands, and the Paw-Paw Fruit's power activated. He compressed air itself into a massive bear paw. Doom! The vibration pulsed outward as the air inside was condensed further. Air, when compressed, becomes incredibly destructive. S-Bear kept condensing it until the bubble was the size of a baby's fist. S-Hawk moved next, wielding a massive black blade that closely resembled Mihawk's Yoru. He swung from afar, unleashing a powerful slash. Whoosh! The slash landed on Regan's arm. Boom! It did nothing. A slash is a form of shockwave, just a sharper one. S-Hawk, offended that his attack failed, charged in for a close-range strike. Slash! This time, he broke through the defense and slashed Regan's arm, drawing black blood. "That blood, collect it," Roy said. Shaka gave a glance. No need for words, one of the track-based robots rushed in with a metal container, catching a large drop of black blood and dashing back. "String!" Countless threads burst from S-Flamingo, latching onto the buildings around the island and then wrapping around Regan. Soon, the threads had firmly restrained the massive creature. S-Bear had finished compressing the air, now the size of a baby's fist. Boom! He vanished from his spot and reappeared at Regan's abdomen. His arm gently pushed forward. "Ursus Shock!" .....
