Neptune exclaimed. The guards stationed at the gate rushed in, faces pale. The three princes dashed out and saw a giant axe embedded in the entrance, engraved with ominous writing. They immediately understood. "Damn it... don't tell me..." "Wasn't he locked in the dungeon?!" Seeing the axe, the brothers knew instantly. They bolted to the prison, only to find it empty. Vander Decken IX was gone, along with all the other inmates. "He escaped while we were away... someone must've helped him. Someone who knows this place well.
