Vegapunk ordered. Psshh! A thick cloud of sleep-inducing gas flooded the area. Roy put on his gas mask and continued watching the creature. The Devil Fruit, cloned from the Nika Fruit, had turned Regan into a monster. He was still humanoid, but looked like an out-of-control Chopper; his body kept growing and mutating. "It's useless... even the gas doesn't work," Shaka muttered. "Deploy the control bots!" Vegapunk shouted. Dozens of mechanical arms descended, grabbing the transformed Regan by all four limbs. "Inject the sedative!" A large syringe stabbed into him, delivering a powerful tranquilizer, enough to knock out an elephant in seconds. But it had no effect. The drug was fully administered, but Regan didn't even flinch. Even the Seastone no longer worked. ROAR!!! His monstrous roar shook all of Egghead. Every light in the prison exploded. The mechanical arms restraining him were shredded. Over in the control room, the shockwave caused an explosion. Shaka shielded Vegapunk with his own body. "What's the situa—" BOOOOM! Before Vegapunk could finish, another deafening explosion rang out. The two rushed from the control room and found Roy, still wearing his gas mask. Roy took it off. "Where is he?" Shaka demanded. "He's already outside," Roy answered. "WHY DIDN'T YOU STOP IT?!" "I wanted to see the final result of the experiment," Roy said calmly. "Dammit! This is Egghead, there are a lot of scientists here!" Shaka grabbed Roy by the collar in fury. "Then call the Marines. I want to see what happens next," Roy replied. "You bastard! You let the experiment go out of control! We never should've agreed to this!" Shaka shouted. "It's not out of control. This is the experiment," Roy grinned. "Hurry.
