If Zeno wasn't sure of the outcome, there was a real possibility that Ron could be killed by Old K and Old O. Zeno could never allow such a thing to happen. In this case, even if Zeno and Ron didn't give Park and Peter any chance to escape, it was completely fine. After all, KUTE had not been drawn to Meteor City by the Zoldyck family. Instead, KUTE themselves set their sights on Meteor City. Park worked for the Elders of Meteor City, not for Ron and Zeno. There was no personal bond between Ron, Zeno, and Park; he was simply a guide for them. As for Peter, things were even more distant. They would likely approach it differently. For example, in the original storyline, Silva killed a Phantom Troupe member during his mission. Chrollo had shown a strong desire for revenge against the Zoldyck family. However, after returning to the Zoldyck mansion, the family didn't take any action against the Phantom Troupe. They simply ignored the matter. Was it really wise to let a potential enemy grow stronger? Ron didn't quite understand that mindset. Bang! Bang! Bang! Ron walked next door and knocked on the door. Soon, Zeno opened it. "Ron." "Grandfather Zeno, I have a question I'd like to consult you on." "What's the question?" Zeno walked in and sat down on the sofa. Ron sat across from him. "Just now, I noticed a hostile gaze directed at me. It came from that little boy we met earlier, the one Park took from the Old Garbage District." Zeno nodded. "I remember. "If it were you, what would you do?" Zeno paused to think for a moment. "You're asking this because of the Trial of the main gate? You've seen plenty of people try to enter the Zoldyck estate, and we Zoldycks didn't take their lives?" "Yes." Ron nodded. "Actually, you can handle this however you like, Ron. You don't need to overthink it." Zeno said, "The reason I've repeated the rules of the Zoldyck family so many times is because they're very important." "They could even be a matter of life or death." "The reason we Zoldycks didn't kill those who tried to invade our estate is simply because we didn't see the need to." "Those people were too weak." "They posed no threat to the Zoldyck family."
