Roy stepped forward, drew a blade, and stabbed it into the emaciated man's heart. He pulled it out. Blood sprayed. The emaciated man's body convulsed violently before going completely still. Shortly after, Ron returned to Heaven's Arena. Without hesitation, he headed directly to AKA's base—the floor belonging to the last remaining core member of AKA. An entire floor is owned by one person. As the sole owner of this floor, the pale-faced youth had the advantage of designing the environment to suit his abilities. In this space, his strength would be at its peak—this floor was his battlefield. Ron arrived at the door and rang the bell. The pale-faced youth saw Ron's figure through the surveillance monitor, and his face darkened. "Ron..." "Have you not considered the possibility that someone else might take your Floor Master position before I do?" The pale-faced youth remained silent. Ron continued, "Are you really acting on such slim odds? Do you treat everyone like this?" "Oh, and one more thing—I just remembered. Does Julianna's death have anything to do with you?" The pale-faced youth's expression subtly shifted. Ron narrowed his eyes. "So it really does involve you?" "Was it because of you that Julianna went to Taris?" "What's your connection to Taris?" Initially, Ron thought this was just an incident involving the Floor Master position. However, the slight change in the youth's expression when Julianna was mentioned made him realize it might not be that simple. Yet their actions didn't seem to indicate they fully understood his true strength. If they had known, they wouldn't have devised such a simple assassination plot. This suggested that someone else might be behind them. These individuals were likely just disposable pawns, not even privy to critical information. Or perhaps, the ones behind them weren't aware of Ron's true strength either? That seemed plausible. After all, Ron had only fought twice: once against the giant fish monster and another time in the Colosseum against a severely injured Shusuke Ito. Few people had witnessed either battle. "I don't know what you're talking about," the pale-faced youth said coldly. "We treat everyone the same. If we succeed, we gain something. If we fail, it doesn't hurt us much. This time, we were just unlucky to get caught by you." Ron smirked. "The more you explain, the more certain I am that my guess is correct." "In that case, I can't let you die so easily."
