He proclaimed that all matters have their destined course. Once, they made a great vow to attain sainthood; today, they must bear the grand karma of resisting the Demon Dao. The flourishing of the Western Sect had been predetermined before they became Saints. Back then, Zhunti roamed the East, recruiting disciples and scraping resources, as long as he didn’t provoke the Three Pure Ones, he was seldom interfered with. This endeavor came with significant costs, and now was the time for the brothers to step forward. Since the appearance of the Demon Buddha, the violent tendencies within the hearts of Primordial beings had been on the rise. Such phenomena were not something that Nezha, as the Deity of the Sun, could suppress. He could only dispel external disturbances, but was powerless to prevent the spread of dark thoughts within the Holy Spirit’s heart. At this moment, the Jieyin Saint continued to pray to the Heavenly Dao with a weary expression. "Primordial beings, heed my words. Now that I see all beings in suffering, their spirit platforms clouded and their true hearts obscured... Today, I vow to attain Supreme Bodhi Fruit. When I become a Buddha, in all ten directions of the world, may all beings who are born in my domain possess true golden bodies of purple polish and the thirty-two majestic features. Pure and flawless, resembling one another. If there remain differences in appearance, or beauty and ugliness, I will not attain enlightenment... When I become a Buddha, may my boundless light illuminate all realms, surpassing the brightness of the sun and moon by thousands upon millions of folds. If any beings see my light and feel it touch their bodies, they shall not fail to experience peace and joy, develop compassion, and act virtuously, ultimately arriving in my domain. If they do not, I will not attain enlightenment." Jieyin Saint recited his grand vow at length, finally concluding with: "Henceforth, I establish the Buddhist doctrine and Buddhism itself. I shall be known as the Jieyin Buddha." After Jieyin concluded, Saint Zhunti immediately followed suit, reciting an extensive declaration before concluding: "I respectfully follow the Buddha Amitabha. From this day forward, I shall be known as Zhunti Buddha Mother." The sect’s keystone treasure was already prepared—it was the Twelve-Grade Merit Golden Lotus. Subsequently, the disciples of the Saints, including Dashizhi, the Pharmacist, Maitreya, Ksitigarbha, and others, began their prayers and declarations. The Pharmacist and Maitreya achieved Buddhahood on the spot, while Ksitigarbha and Dashizhi attained Great Bodhisattva positions. Other disciples with high cultivation levels gained the rank of Bodhisattva, while those with lower cultivation levels were relegated to Arhat status.
