Although Yuuji was still unsure why he was the one chosen, their theory made sense. From the very first mission they received, most of the task they received was meant to have them eradicate the sources of conflict and save as many lives as they could. Even the mission to subjugate kingdoms that they received in Overlord was actually meant to prevent more suffering of the people, given how unstable and dangerous most of the kingdoms and countries in the new world were for the common people. He entered from the front door, which was closest to his sisters’ class. And the moment he entered, he was greeted by his classmates, and he responded in kind. A casual morning greeting. He also greeted Yotsuba, Chitoge, Onodera, Ruri, Ai, Visha, and Raku as he made his way to his seat at the very back. Yuuji placed his bag on his table and sat down. His absence explained the peaceful silence in their little section of the class. But just as he was about to enjoy it, the classroom door at the back slid open with a bang, grabbing everyone’s attention. “Hey! Hot breaking news!!! This is massive!!!” “Uwah! M-Maiko-kun?! You scared me!” Yotsuba cried out with hands on her chest to calm her heart. She was seated closest to the door and she was dozing off, having slept late last night. “I’m sorry, but this is super big news!” “Geez... What’s this big news about?” “We’re going to get a new foreign female transfer student!!!” ““!!!”” The news shocked everyone in class, and before they could respond, Shuu continued. “I overheard some things then I walked past the teacher’s room on the way back from the washroom. I heard a beautiful voice of a girl from inside. She was speaking in fluent japanese, but I notice an accent! It was similar to Serebryakov-san's accent!” “Me?” Visha pointed at herself and tilted her head, surprised. “Could she be from German as well?” She wondered. It was then did Yuuji realized something. “No... It can’t be... It shouldn’t be this fast... Right?” He muttered under his breath. And for the first time, he felt his heart tremble from being caught so off guard. A loud bang from the door snapped him out of his thoughts, drawing his gaze—along with everyone else’s—to the front of the classroom. A familiar figure stepped inside—a mature, black-haired beauty clad in a long, white coat. With confident strides and a fierce aura, she made her way toward the teacher’s desk at the front of the room. Hiratsuka Shizuka slammed her hand on the desk with a loud boom, and all sound vanished from the classroom. “Good morning. Get to your seats.” Following her words, the sounds of rattling chairs and hurried footsteps filled the room as all the students quickly made their way back to their seats, before falling silent once more. Shizuka nodded and began her roll call. “...Alright. Now, I have an announcement to make.” Their waning attention from the roll call immediately laser focused on their homeroom teacher the moment she started her announcements. “We’ll be having a new transfer student from overseas coming today. I know it’s a bit sudden, but I hope you’ll welcome her warmly all the same. You can enter now.” The classroom door slid open once more, and a beautiful girl with sharp european features, a pair of beautiful light green eyes, and shoulder-length light brown hair appeared, making her way to the front of the class beside Shizuka. Her lips curled into a bright, cheerful smile that immediately captivated the hearts of many guys in class, and she waved her hand. “Everyone, it’s nice to meet you~ My name is Erya Flugel, and I come from Germany~! I’m also Visha’s childhood friend~! I hope we get along~!” Erya waved and winked at Visha, who remained frozen in shock at her childhood friend’s sudden appearance in her school.
