The sound waves exploded, his voice like the roar of thunder from the Nine Heavens, reverberated incessantly within the practice room, and in the very air itself. That challenging cry struck right to the soul, as if piercing through Xu Zhong’s flesh and pounding upon his heart. Xu Zhong was so terrified that his liver and gallbladder split; beads of sweat instantly formed on his forehead, and his legs involuntarily began to tremble. Upon hearing Ye Feng’s words, the people present grew angry and turned their gaze upon Xu Zhong, "Brother Xu Zhong, teach him a lesson, quick!" Xu Zhong’s face was a mask of fear; he was acutely aware of how powerful Ye Feng was. Xu Zhong completely froze up, with fear uncontrollably surging from within, rendering him speechless. "Answer me!" Ye Feng’s voice was cold as ice. His calm gaze held a chilling, sharp intensity like millennia-old ice spires aimed straight at Xu Zhong’s heart. Xu Zhong shook all over, finally stammering out, "I... I... I dare not!" "Ha ha ha~~" Sun De laughed boisterously, his eyes filled with smug satisfaction. "Ye Feng, did you hear that? Our brother Xu Zhong said he doesn’t..." But before Sun De could finish his sentence, he suddenly realized the implication and was struck with a jolt. His mind swept up like a tempest, he stared at Xu Zhong with wide eyes.
