Chapter 11: Chapter 9: 10 Minutes Feng shook his head helplessly, looking at Lin Shiyu, "Lin Shiyu, Sir Lin Zhen just recovered from a serious illness, so let’s not disturb him with this. I can handle such a small matter myself." As the words fell, Lin Shiyu didn’t pay attention to Feng at all. Instead, she dialed the phone number and shot Feng a fierce glare. Wan Shanhai was completely shaken, yet he still found it hard to believe, even though he knew Lin Zhen wasn’t trying to scare him. Lin Zhen was one who knew Feng’s identity all too well. If Feng wanted to, he could expel the Wan Family from their ranks without even trying. Wan Shanhai looked at Lin Zhen with mixed feelings of doubts and belief, regardless of whether Feng was as terrifying as Lin Zhen described. At the very least, Wan Shanhai was certain that Feng’s background was not simple and certainly no lesser than that of his own Wan Family. While Wan Shanhai did not believe Feng was as fearsome as Lin Zhen had described, he did admit that offending Feng was not a wise decision. Inside the Wanhua Manor, everyone was waiting for Sir Lin Zhen’s call. The looks directed at Feng were as if they were looking at an idiot, and almost everyone present felt Feng was doomed for sure today. At that moment, the phone rang. "It’s here!" The anticipation in everyone’s eyes intensified. Wan Tianhua smiled as he took out his phone, then his expression turned to surprise when he saw the caller ID. Because the call wasn’t from Lin Zhen, but from his own father, Wan Shanhai. "Hello, Dad..." Wan Tianhua answered the phone. "Tianhua, do you have a young man named Feng there?" Wan Shanhai asked over the phone. "Yes! This brat didn’t give our Wan Family the slightest respect; he’s intent on targeting the young lady from the Zhang Family," explained Wan Tianhua. "Don’t involve yourself in this matter, let them sort it out themselves..." Wan Shanhai commanded from the other end. "What!" Wan Tianhua was stunned, his face filled with disbelief, "Dad, the Zhang Family is our important partner, how can we just..." "Enough!" Ye Feng remained calm and collected, "Bow your head, admit your wrongs, promise to stay three steps away from Lin Shiyu and myself in the future, and I’ll let you regain your feeling." Ye Feng’s words were indisputable, and if not followed, he absolutely wouldn’t allow Zhang Lin to rise. Everyone was shocked by Ye Feng’s move. Using only a pair of chopsticks, Ye Feng had rendered Zhang Lin immobile. "How dare you! Today, I, Zhang Wei, am here, and I’ll see who dares to make my daughter bow and apologize!" He was known for his domineering and overbearing actions, and upon seeing Zhang Wei, everyone around displayed a deep sense of apprehension. Zhang Wei glared at Ye Feng like a bloodthirsty beast, "Little bastard, you dared to lay hands on my daughter, I’ll cripple you today!" Following that, Zhang Wei’s men drew handguns simultaneously, pointing them at Ye Feng. The sight of the guns sent everyone into a panic. Even Lin Shiyu’s complexion turned pale. Although Tian Yefeng had managed to defeat several Lin Family bodyguards previously. But those bodyguards were always cautious, not wanting to shoot for fear of accidentally hurting Lin Shiyu and the others, thus limiting their actions.
