As soon as these words were spoken, they instantly drew contempt from everyone present. However, only Park Yong-ho from Wei Gao dared to curse openly, for a nation's strength breeds confidence.
"You idiot! What absolute nonsense!"
"My god, how did we end up with allies like you? Being associated with you Tai Islanders is lowering my IQ!"
"Bastard! Keep your insults to yourself! I've had enough of you!"
Park Yong-ho raised an eyebrow challengingly. "Oh? You want to fight me?"
Both nations remained under White Eagle's deterrence and were currently allies. While verbal sparring was acceptable, physical confrontation would spell serious trouble.
From the Tai Island delegation, a stern-faced man spoke up: "Sit down! Commander Park, please continue. We're willing to acknowledge our mistakes."
Only then did Park Yong-ho appear satisfied, his tone losing its previous sharpness.
He explained: "First, since Lu Ding captured Wu Island through a night raid, his success means he's undoubtedly prepared against similar tactics. Sending more troops would just be throwing lives away. We should conserve our strength, adjust tactics, and avoid futile efforts."
"I've activated radar and detection arrays covering East Kang Island and five kilometers beyond to monitor for enemy ambushes. Intelligence confirms Lu Ding can fly, making these precautions essential."
The attendees nodded in agreement, urging him to continue.
"Secondly, we must understand there's no need to rush. Why the hurry? Slowing the combat pace works to our advantage - we can afford to drag this out with Great Han."
"Following White Eagle's directives, we must focus on Lu Ding himself. His battlefield dominance is terrifying. He's our primary target."
The conference room screen lit up, displaying Lu Ding's detailed profile - personality traits, background, combat records, and spell documentation.
Park Yong-ho pointed at Lu Ding's personality analysis with a baton: "Records indicate Lu Ding operates with extreme efficiency. Today's tasks get done today;tomorrow's tasks get done today if time permits. Therefore, by deliberately stalling, we exploit his psychological vulnerability - his own nature will work against him."
"During this period, we'll leak plans to attack the Huang River First Dam."
This bombshell statement made others regard Park Yong-ho as if he were mad.
"Are you insane? Attacking Great Han's dam would involve civilians! What if Great Han retaliates with everything? Who could withstand their fury?"
Park Yong-ho waved dismissively with a cold laugh. "See how nervous you are? Great Han will react the same. We're merely spreading rumors while sending decoy suicide squads. The real objective is diverting some Heavenly Perception cultivators' attention."
"Then we'll have our nations' Heavenly Perception experts enter the battlefield - not to fight, but to draw away Great Han's forces. Amid this chaos, Weigao Nation will deploy Mr. One-Eyed Five for a precision strike on Lu Ding."
His baton tapped Lu Ding's profile again: "While Lu Ding appears omnipotent in both spells and physical combat, his mental and spiritual defenses must be weaker. His bloodthirsty, impatient nature suggests an incomplete mental cultivation - exactly where Mr. One-Eyed Five holds absolute dominance."
"Our stalling tactics will exacerbate his impulsiveness, further widening these mental gaps."
When others questioned Great Han's potential retaliation, Park Yong-ho sneered: "Let them rage. With Lu Ding dead, they've lost their ultimate weapon. Besides, we're not actually attacking civilians - the dam story is pure rumor. At worst, our operatives face charges of illegal entry."
"Our Heavenly Perception experts won't engage either - they're merely observers. If Great Han attacks first, our response becomes justified."
The strategy's brilliance dawned on everyone. The psychological assessment of Lu Ding seemed particularly sound - impatient individuals invariably struggle with stagnation. They'd seen such types often enough.
As for Mr. One-Eyed Five - this entity had once inflicted massive casualties on Weigao. Though physically weak, its mental assault capabilities were formidable. Even Heavenly Perception cultivators would fall if mentally vulnerable, though it posed little threat to those with complete mental fortitude.
Tanaka Hirota of Tai Island, bearer of the Special Envoy title, asked: "Should I still proceed to Wu Island tomorrow?"
"Pointless for now," Park Yong-ho replied. "We'll maintain defensive positions - engaging only when attacked, otherwise waiting for our plan's execution."
He displayed the defensive structures he'd overseen on a digital map: "The Position-Shifting Dragon Array allows rapid troop redeployment across East Kang Island. The Sea-Trap Array transforms surrounding waters into natural barriers - while Lu Ding can fly, his forces cannot. Any landing would be fatal."
"The outer perimeter features White Eagle's Spirit-Devouring Stacks, neutralizing most spiritual energy attacks. These won't hold Great Han indefinitely, but breaching them will cost them dearly."
His pride grew with each explanation. Other delegates glanced at the Tai Island representatives as if to say: "This is real defense, unlike your pathetic efforts."
Even the thick-skinned Tai Islanders flushed with shame. Their underestimation of Great Han had led to complete defeat on two fronts - a humiliating outcome.
Meanwhile, Lu Ding had arrived near the island.
Radar? Detection arrays?
Irrelevant. Lu Ding remained beyond their range, capable of launching long-range attacks. This wasn't an all-out assault - just large-scale harassment to buy time for his own advancement.
