However, from an angle unseen by anyone, the corners of Mo Li’s lips curved into a knowing smile. Su Bei looked at Mo Li, now so cold and aloof she seemed to transcend the mortal world. He found it hard to reconcile this image with the woman who had acted like a pervert just moments before. Could it really have been the drug? But that doesn’t seem right! Mo Li raised her head and nodded coolly at Xiao Ruoching. The three of them then turned and left the place that had made Su Bei feel like he was caught between heaven and hell. Upon exiting, Su Bei saw Dan Wulan standing there quietly. A smile spread across his face as he called out, "Ninth Junior Sister!" Dan Wulan responded with a curt hum, her pretty face impassive. Her gaze swept over Xiao Ruoching and Mo Li before she stated coolly, "I shall take my leave." With that, she turned and departed. Su Bei watched Dan Wulan’s retreating purple-clad figure, shaking his head inwardly. Such an aloof Ninth Junior Sister! He’d thought this incident might bring them closer. Gaining this woman’s favor was proving to be incredibly difficult... Headmistress Yu watched this unfold with a playful glint in her eyes. "Elder Su," she said, "how are you feeling?" Su Bei’s face was full of dark lines. He had no desire to repeat what he’d just endured. Seeing that Headmistress Yu seemed about to say more, Su Bei quickly cleared his throat and looked at her seriously. "Headmistress Yu, there’s been progress with the newspaper!
