With that settled, Lola and the director joined the panel and crew in the audition room. To her surprise, the twins’ seats were decorated adorably, as if the props crew had nothing else to do. "Mommy, do you like our seats?!" Chacha giddily turned to Lola. "It’s pink!" "Mine is blue—sooo cool!" Second added in awe as his seat was decorated with spaceships and galaxies. Chacha’s, on the other hand, looked like it came straight from a Barbie set. Seeing them happy brought even more excitement to Lola’s heart. She turned to the director, then to Ida on the side, and finally to the crew. ’Thank you so much,’ she mouthed slowly and widely, so the crew could read her lips. The crew simply smiled and nodded back. Even without Lola’s thanks, they found the twins adorable. The last time they were here, the twins had not only helped with the audition but also brightened everyone’s day. What they meant by that was that during short breaks, the twins would approach them. Sometimes they said something random that made everyone laugh; other times, they offered compliments. Most importantly, they reminded them to take care and even shared their snacks. Who wouldn’t love those two angels? In this suffocating work environment, having such innocence and a bubbly nature around was like breathing a fresh breath of air. "By the way, Taz, we saw the video recording of Cedrick," one panel member said, catching Lola’s attention. "I must say, I’m impressed. Very impressed." The older woman in the group chuckled. "I was surprised when Director Sarian sent the audition tape to me. Throughout the entire clip, there’s only one word I can say: that’s Ryker right there." "Are you really planning on expanding from content creation to managing artists?" the first one asked. "I mean, don’t get me wrong—I think the audition tape is great, and I hope he doesn’t mess it up today. But Taz, the artist had a really horrible rep." "Don’t worry about his bad reputation," Director Sarian said, frowning deeply. "I already gave the higher-ups a heads-up. I reassured them that Slater’s reputation will overpower Cedrick’s past issues. They all agreed with my reasoning." Lola froze, glancing at the director with slight surprise. An artist’s reputation is part of their lifeline." Lola nodded, quietly taking their advice. After all, these panel members held important roles in the entertainment industry. They rummaged through the files, but found only a few documents that offered no explanation. "I know what to do!" Second said, holding their secret phone while Chacha moved to his side. "Let’s ask the internet about this." Second didn’t create a thread or post, but instead used a secret app to look for any information on Lola, particularly her business portfolio. Sure enough, he found something interesting. "Mommy is going to set up an agency?" Chacha hummed. "Is she going to collect beautiful girls and boys?" "Our mommy is very pretty, so she only needs to see pretty people." Then, the twins gazed at Cedrick’s profile. They pondered it, deciding to look him up again. After all, he looked like someone who could seduce their mother. Cedrick had made headlines a few years ago, so the information wasn’t hard to find. "Is Mommy going to hire someone so problematic?" Second frowned. "Chacha, do you think Mommy likes him?" "I don’t want her to like him." "But she’s setting up a new company, and it seems she wants to hire her first ’slave.’ I’m worried. I don’t want Mommy to have a hard time." Chacha studied her brother’s face, then grinned. "Let’s help her~!" "That sounds more fun than sorting Uncle Silly’s trash papers!"
