Chapter 51 - 43 Destruction and Three Wishes

"Bardock, are you really going to do this?" Gine watched her husband anxiously on the plain, then glanced at their child inside the spaceship. "Gine, Frieza plans to destroy Planet Vegeta. We must send Kakarot away." "I've confirmed it. Earth is a low-level world. Kakarot will be safe there." Bardock spoke softly, his gaze gentle as it rested on the Saiyan child within the ship. "I understand..." Gine nodded reluctantly. Without hesitation, Bardock unleashed his powerful aura, engulfing the spaceship. With a battle power exceeding 10,000, he erupted with tremendous speed. "Boom!" The spaceship shot towards the vast expanse of space. "Waaah!" Inside, Kakarot awoke, startled by the sudden departure. He cried, watching his parents grow smaller and smaller. "Gine, stay here. I'm going to find Aspara." Bardock turned to her after sending his son away. "Okay! You go first." Gine quickly nodded. Bardock prepared to leave. Then, a vision flashed through his mind, and he sensed a powerful aura descending from the sky. "Damn it! Frieza!" Bardock's eyes widened. With a furious roar, he clenched his teeth and shot towards the sky. ... Meanwhile, in space... A massive spaceship blockaded Planet Vegeta. "Your Majesty, a spaceship is leaving Planet Vegeta. Shall we shoot it down?" Zarbon reported respectfully. "Oh-ho-ho, a Saiyan trying to escape? How loyal." Frieza's amused voice rang out. "What's its battle power?" "Battle power... two points. Destination: Earth, a lower-class planet." Zarbon answered respectfully. "Two points?" Frieza paused. "Pfft, hahahaha! Two points? A Saiyan that weak actually exists?" The aliens around him froze and then burst into loud laughter. "Oh-ho-ho! Pathetic. Let him go; we can always reclaim the planet later, can't we?" Frieza's voice was filled with amusement. "Yes, Frieza Sama," Zarbon responded respectfully. "Come now, Zarbon. This is the most beautiful moment for fireworks." With a chuckle, Frieza floated out of the spaceship in his hovering chair, positioning himself above Planet Vegeta. A number of aliens capable of surviving in space followed closely behind. Soon, Frieza and his group gathered high above Planet Vegeta. The moment they appeared, a figure shot towards them. "Frieza!" Bardock's furious shout echoed. "Oh-ho-ho, a wild monkey has noticed us. How bold." Frieza smiled. He calmly raised a finger on his right hand... A fiery red energy sphere rapidly formed on Frieza's fingertip. In an instant, the energy sphere grew larger, expanding to the size of an entire planet. With a casual flick of his finger, Frieza launched the massive energy sphere towards Bardock and Planet Vegeta behind him. The colossal energy sphere engulfed everything in its path, exuding an overwhelming sense of pressure as it bore down on Bardock. "Frieza!" Bardock roared furiously, releasing waves of immense aura. Energy surged from his right hand as his battle power began to skyrocket. 10,000 points... 12,000 points... 20,000... 30,000... 100,000... 200,000 points. In the blink of an eye, his battle power soared to 200,000 points. Yet, it was all in vain. The fiery red glow devoured everything. Bardock's energy attack was instantly overwhelmed, and his body was engulfed by the massive energy sphere. Without any resistance, the energy sphere continued its descent. In the skies above Planet Vegeta, a blazing sun suddenly appeared. At that moment, countless Saiyans instinctively looked up, dumbfounded by the sight. On the plains below, Gine's eyes widened in shock. But just as her eyes widened, a voice sounded in her ear. "Gine, would you like to be transported to Namek?" The unfamiliar voice stunned Gine for a moment. Soon after, a familiar voice followed. "Aunt Gine, please agree quickly. I will transfer you out of here." The urgent tone caught her attention. "Aspara?" Gine was momentarily taken aback. "Aunt Gine, please agree!" The familiar voice urged once again. "All right... okay!" Instinctively, Gine nodded. The next moment, a streak of light enveloped her, and in the blink of an eye, her figure vanished from Planet Vegeta. Moments after Gine's disappearance— "Boom!" "Rumble!" A deafening explosion echoed across the sky, engulfing the entire Planet Vegeta. In an instant, Planet Vegeta turned into the brightest and most dazzling firework in the universe. "Oh-ho-ho, what a magnificent display of fireworks," Frieza's mocking voice echoed through the starry void. ... A few days later— A message spread rapidly throughout Frieza's army: Planet Vegeta had been destroyed by the impact of a massive meteor. Of course, that was the official story. ... Meanwhile, on Namek— A few hours earlier... Following the Great Elder's orders, the second and third elders quickly gathered all the Dragon Balls. As the second elder recited the incantation, Shenron Porunga appeared in the skies above Namek. "Guest, you may now make your wishes. You are allowed three wishes." The second elder's gentle voice broke the silence. "Thank you." "Second Elder, for my first wish, can you transport Bardock and Gine from Planet Vegeta to Namek?" After a moment of thought, Jiang Chen made his request. "Very well." "Cooler la la la siri teriri!" The strange Namekian language echoed as the second elder conveyed the wish. "This wish is simple, but it requires the consent of those involved," Porunga's voice rumbled. "Porunga, can you transmit my voice to them?" Jiang Chen asked anxiously. The second elder quickly repeated the request. "Yes," Porunga responded, and his eyes glowed red. Moments later, the glow faded. "I am sorry. Bardock cannot be transported. He is a pivotal figure in history, bound by his destiny. I lack the power to interfere with his mission," Porunga explained.
