Chapter 90: Can’t Let Go Shiao Yi looked adorable in his knee-length blue pants and long white socks. The moment Dominic saw him all dressed up in one of the rooms at the Korisha Fortress, he couldn’t help but scoop him up into his arms. Shiao Yi had been complaining and grumbling in protest, but Dominic ignored it completely and held onto him anyway. He said he has been turni nineteen? That had to be a lie. No matter how you looked at him, he didn’t look a day older than thirteen. He was so cute, Dominic felt like he could just eat him up. "I told you, I’m not a child, you know?" Shiao Yi said while tilting his head slightly as he looked up. Did this boy want to drive him mad? Dominic could hardly stand it. This adorable Shiao Yi—he didn’t want anyone else to lay eyes on him. If possible, he wanted to lock him away safely in a treasure chest and never let him out. Of course, if Shiao Yi really were thirteen, Dominic would never lay a hand on him. He wasn’t into underage boys. However, Shiao Yi was actually nineteen with youthful looks. Wasn’t that already a kind of crime on its own? Yet, behind closed doors, Shiao Yi could show such a sensual and sultry expression, shy yet unmistakably seductive. Only Dominic had ever seen that side of him. And he wasn’t about to share it with anyone else. Still holding Shiao Yi in his arms, Dominic gave his final instructions for their departure. The commander and other members of the Korisha Fortress all stared at him in shock, frozen as if they didn’t know what to say. Dominic didn’t care at all. Other people’s opinions meant nothing to him. No matter what looks they gave or what they whispered, it didn’t bother him in the slightest. No one mattered except Shiao Yi. And with Aaron joining them on this mission, Dominic was even more determined that he would not to let Shiao Yi out of his arms. He could tolerate it only because Aaron was necessary for the operation. However, the man was getting a little too comfortable. What even worse is Shiao Yi had started speaking to him in a friendly way. It irritated Dominic to no end. The first place where they stayed for the night was said to be one of the more decent ones. Apparently, things would only get worse from there. It would be more run-down villages, harsher roads. After a late dinner and a strategy meeting in Aaron’s room, Dominic carried Shiao Yi back to the room assigned to him next door. Still holding him, Dominic kissed him, letting out some of the frustration he had been holding in. Shiao Yi wrapped his arms around Dominic’s shoulders and kissed him back. For a moment, Dominic was thrilled—thinking maybe Shiao Yi felt the same way. But then, taking advantage of that brief emotional opening, Shiao Yi suddenly pushed against Dominic’s shoulders and jumped out of his arms. "Enough already, okay? I’m not some kind of doll. I’ve got legs—I can walk just fine." Then he took off his jacket and tossed it onto the sofa. He stripped off the silk shirt with frills, clearly annoyed. "I’m not wearing this tomorrow. What a joke. Wearing this crap, I don’t look like anything but a kid. I hate it!" He kicked off the glossy enamel shoes and yanked his socks off roughly. "What about my pants, Dominic? The clothes I used to wear—where are they?" Shiao Yi stripped off his knee-length pants and wearing only his underclothes, he began rummaging through the bag that held his belongings. "Shiao... that’s quite a provocative pose," Dominic remarked. "Huh?" Shiao Yi, who had been kneeling with his white underclothes pulled tight over his backside, turned around with a puzzled expression. Even though he always acted embarrassed about being naked in bed, he seemed strangely unbothered during moments like this. In his mind, it seemed, there was nothing to be embarrassed about between two men. Was that because he didn’t see Dominic as someone to be attracted to? The thought made Dominic feel a bit sad. But still, that didn’t stop him from enjoying the view of Shiao Yi’s cute, exposed backside. It was only after a moment that Shiao Yi noticed the heat in Dominic’s gaze. His cheeks flushed a soft red as he suddenly used both hands to cover his rear. "Don’t look at me like that... It makes me feel weird," Shiao Yi mumbled. "What kind of weird feeling?" Dominic asked, his voice low and teasing. Shiao Yi probably thought he was covering himself properly, but it only made the whole scene more seductive. Did he even realize that? "Shiao... are you trying to seduce me? Taking your clothes off while showing me your back like that..." "W-What? No! I’m not! I-I didn’t mean it like that!" he cried, his face going even redder. When Shiao Yi tried to scramble away, Dominic caught him easily. He pulled the undershirt up over his head, stopping at the arms, which left Shiao Yi’s hands caught inside the fabric. It pinned him just enough to leave him vulnerable. While pressing kisses against his chest, Dominic slid one hand lower, toward the waistband of Shiao Yi’s last remaining piece of clothing. "No! Dominic, wait!" Shiao Yi panicked. "I didn’t wash today—I didn’t take care of anything!" His voice was desperate and full of worry. But Dominic only lifted him up effortlessly and carried him over to the bed. The inn Aaron had chosen was clearly a high-end place. Despite the fact that the town was small, the room and the bed were both quite spacious. "Wait—please, I’m not clean yet," Shiao Yi protested, voice trembling. "Dominic, I should wash up first—my body—" "You’re not dirty. It’s fine," Dominic replied, his voice low and firm. "Dominic—!" He silenced Shiao Yi’s protest with a kiss. He had been holding back all this time, constantly tempted by Shiao Yi’s adorably shy looks. However, now, after seeing him in such a suggestive pose, there was no holding back anymore. The desire that had been smoldering inside him finally spilled over.
