There were so many things in the chat group, and most of them were technological products.
But among all these items, the most valuable were power-ups—and the invitation ticket.
By joining this group, you could earn points by completing tasks or even by traveling to other worlds.
As for things like food?
Those weren't a priority.
Using the chat group just to buy food would be a waste.
The real priority was to invite new people to the group and strengthen yourself.
Then, there was the spatial storage equipment.
With that, anyone could visit other worlds simply by using the group's red envelope system, right?
After browsing through everything in the group, Izayoi more or less figured things out.
So the first priority was clear: get more points!
But signing in every day would take months to gather enough points.
That was way too slow.
Waiting for Asuka to complete tasks?
That was just too uncertain.
So the only solution left was to trade with others!
Kudou Asuka paused when she heard this, then nodded.
That did make sense.
She looked at the invitation ticket, then sent a message in the group chat.
Kudou Asuka:
[Does anyone have any points?]
[I want to exchange something from our world for points.]
She asked directly in the group chat.
Fujiwara Chika saw this and grew curious.
Why the rush for points?
Fujiwara Chika:
[Are you planning to power yourself up?]
That had to be it, right?
Kudou Asuka had just awakened her superpower, and now she was in a hurry to get stronger.
Kudou Asuka:
[No! I want to buy an invitation ticket!]
She didn't hide anything, but directly shared her intentions.
Takumi also saw Asuka's message.
After reading it, he raised his eyebrows.
That must have been Izayoi's idea.
Takumi:
[Izayoi's idea?]
He asked directly in the group.
Kudou Asuka:
[Yes!]
Takumi:
[Have Izayoi give me a vial of his blood, and I'll give you 3000 points.]
Once he confirmed, Takumi immediately replied.
Want points?
No problem.
Just trade Izayoi's blood for it.
Takumi was very interested in Izayoi's blood—within it was the perpetual motion engine of the Third Cosmic Particle, known as humanity's ultimate secret.
It could generate energy from environmental information, seemingly out of nothing.
Most of Izayoi's abilities came from this.
That's why Takumi wanted his blood sample.
Nanomachines?
Takumi thought, maybe he could reverse engineer them.
Saigo Homura had managed to recreate the perpetual nanomachine engine using understanding, reproduction, and creativity.
Takumi had all those abilities too.
So, if he could get a sample of Izayoi's blood, he'd have a perpetual motion engine to study and possibly duplicate.
Kudou Asuka was shocked at Takumi's reply.
Izayoi saw it too, and couldn't help but raise an eyebrow.
His blood?
"No problem, but you'll have to pay more," Izayoi said without hesitation.
If Takumi wanted it, fine—but he wanted more points.
Kudou Asuka rolled her eyes at this.
Kudou Asuka:
[He says you have to pay extra.]
She more or less understood why Takumi wanted Izayoi's blood, but she didn't intend to get involved.
Let them talk it out themselves.
Takumi:
[Emm...]
Good grief!
Takumi was speechless for a moment after reading Asuka's reply.
But on second thought, he simply offered more.
Takumi:
[5000 points. No more than that.]
5000 points for a perpetual motion engine sample was actually a pretty good deal, so Takumi didn't refuse.
He'd originally offered 3000 points, thinking Asuka would use them to invite Black Rabbit, Kasukabe Yō, and Izayoi to the group.
The group chat fell silent.
Anyone who'd read "Problem Children" knew what Takumi was trying to do—he wanted to analyze Izayoi's perpetual motion engine.
It was entirely possible that Takumi could actually reproduce it.
Kudou Asuka looked at Izayoi after seeing this.
Izayoi stroked his chin, surprised that Takumi increased the price without hesitation.
"Does this guy really know what's in my body?"
"He didn't even try to haggle?"
Izayoi was dumbfounded.
He'd planned to sell for less if needed.
Even if Takumi hadn't raised the offer, it wouldn't have mattered.
It was just a vial of blood, after all—no big deal.
Kudou Asuka commented,
"He really does know what you have in your body."
"Even your Gift."
She just laid it out.
Izayoi would be joining the group soon anyway, so it was fine to tell him.
Once inside, he'd see everything for himself.
"Interesting!"
"Looks like this Takumi guy is pretty powerful," Izayoi said, his interest piqued.
If someone knew about his secret, he was even more interested in joining the group.
"I'll go find a container," Izayoi said, getting ready to draw his blood.
"No need," Asuka interrupted him.
"Just ask him for the tools."
She then sent a message in the group.
Kudou Asuka:
[Send me a blood draw kit.]
Takumi:
[Kudou Asuka's exclusive red envelope]
[Kudou Asuka's exclusive red envelope]
Takumi immediately sent two red envelopes.
Asuka claimed them right away.
The next second, a special syringe appeared in her hand, and 5000 points were instantly credited to her account.
Takumi's message quickly followed.
Takumi:
[Have Izayoi draw it from the heart. He won't die—don't worry! It just needs to be heart blood.]
The syringe was custom-made to draw blood straight from the heart.
Seeing the message, Asuka was speechless but didn't say anything more.
She handed the tool to Izayoi.
"Invite me to the group, then give me 1000 points. You keep the other 1000 for yourself to power up."
Izayoi finished speaking, took the syringe from Asuka, rolled up his shirt, and pressed it to his chest.
He immediately felt a sting at his heart, like being bitten by a mosquito.
The syringe quickly began extracting blood.
Izayoi could clearly feel the fatigue from blood loss—an uncomfortable sensation.
But the feeling faded quickly.
Once the syringe was full, it automatically stopped.
Izayoi looked at the crimson blood inside, then handed the syringe to Asuka.
He just felt a little tired and had a faint pain in his heart, but that soon faded as well.
Asuka accepted the syringe from Izayoi and then sent it to Takumi.
