He had timed this moment carefully—the eastern patrol would be changing shifts, leaving a brief window when that section of the wall would be less heavily watched. Using the thick vines that climbed the palace walls as handholds, Eren descended silently, his muscles straining with the effort of maintaining both speed and stealth.
