Chapter 265: Cross-Dimensional Industry

Words : 1443 Updated : Oct 9th, 2025
After thorough discussions, Leo came to a conclusion: There was a 99% chance that this Wakanda did not have Vibranium—or at the very least, not enough to sustain large-scale use or fuel an exaggerated level of technological advancement. Before colonizers discovered this land, generations of Wakandan kings had protected its fertile soil, living an almost utopian existence— Until a colonizer stumbled upon it. From the various sources Leo had consulted, this Wakanda's history appeared surprisingly coherent. Though it had experienced periods of isolationism, that isolation was shattered with the arrival of colonizers. There was no advanced technology being used to fight primitive wars. Instead, due to its exceptionally fertile land, Wakanda had developed into a harmonious agrarian society—but remained technologically backward. Of course, in more recent times, they had at least learned how to use AK-47s. According to T'Chaka, over 70% of Africa's wars took place in this fertile Central African region. If Wakanda hadn't used its surplus food to unite neighboring African nations, they likely would have been overthrown long ago by those ruthless agricultural corporations. Aside from being well-fed, Wakanda was failing in every other aspect. T'Chaka desperately wanted to change this reality, but there was little he could do. No major corporations were even willing to help. After all, while famine wasn't uncommon in this world, wealthy regions never struggled with food shortages. High-tech companies had no interest, while agricultural giants watched Wakanda like hawks—this was the dilemma they faced. Upon hearing this, Leo immediately decided to start operations in Wakanda— Soil this unnaturally fertile... wasn't this the perfect place to cultivate CHOOH2 wheat?! No Vibranium? No problem. If he could get his hands on CHOOH2 wheat and combine it with this miraculous land, he'd essentially replicate half of Vibranium's value! Of course, the real mystery only deepened— Why was the land here so absurdly fertile? There were far too many unknowns in this world. But for now, he needed to focus on his operations within the United States. Two Days Later Martin burst through the door of the production office, bringing exciting news: "Huge news! The first batch of artificial blood has hit the market, and International Gene Cooperation Ltd.'s valuation has already surpassed $50 billion—and it's skyrocketing by the minute! The UK, France, and Germany have all approved our market entry. I gotta say, my friend, your foresight is absolutely insane! Everyone thought you were just getting started, but you had already planned for the global market—and secured deals! As of today, we are officially a multinational corporation!" Fifty billion dollars honestly wasn't that much—at least, not for one of Leo's companies. However, he had only released less than 10% of the company's stock into circulation, keeping the vast majority locked up. This drastically affected the company's valuation. Plus, the stock exchange was in a strange state— Large amounts of capital couldn't even enter the market. Even with just under 10% of shares in circulation, Leo was confident the company's valuation would soon easily surpass the trillion-dollar mark. Meanwhile, due to global network disruptions, ctOS remained largely intact, leading to a flood of network infrastructure orders. Blume Corporation was about to enter a massive period of growth. At this point, calculating available cash was almost meaningless— As long as Leo didn't suddenly lose his mind, his companies would never run out of money. That meant it was time to launch new ventures. With the ability to travel between two worlds, Leo had far too many ideas he wanted to bring to life. And now, the system had unlocked new projects. Leo gazed through the glass at the workers on the production line. These plasma production workers focused solely on their tasks, while beside them stood fully enclosed production compartments. Through tempered glass partitions, he could see robotic arms performing assembly steps with human-like precision— Because in reality, those robotic arms were being operated remotely by cyberpunk-world workers. Similarly, workers in the Marvel world were using experimental exoskeletons to synchronize with the production process. The company even planned to hire more disabled workers, integrating brain-machine interfaces to equip them with prosthetic limbs for ultra-precise manufacturing. [Technological Innovation: Cross-Dimensional Industry] [Description: You have successfully achieved synchronized production across two worlds.] [Rewarded Technology Points: 5000] [Current Technology Points: 7000] [New Feature Unlocked: Quantum Resonance] [Description: As cross-dimensional production scales up, system losses during production will gradually decrease, equipment will be more likely to reach its theoretical lifespan, and various performance metrics such as yield rate and efficiency will approach theoretical limits.] [Please work hard to expand production—there will always be a use for it.] The system seemed to strongly encourage Leo to develop cross-dimensional industrial production. Leo looked at Martin, put an arm around his shoulder, and led him aside. "This is only the beginning." Martin chuckled. "You say that every time something good happens since I started working with you." Leo shrugged. "Because it is just the beginning. I'm thinking we should start developing more advanced consumer machinery—like cars." "Cars?" "Flying cars. Sounds pretty good, right? Adrian is an engine expert, and this project has serious potential." [Unstable Energy Surge Imminent] [Countdown: 48 Hours] United Nations Headquarters HYDRA had stopped using online meetings. With Arnim Zola shut down, they were deeply suspicious of the internet. Their leader in Europe had even taken a last-minute flight to New York. "Zola has been restarted, but the problem is... something is seriously wrong with him." "Sigh... We need to restore Zola to normal, but now even he is paranoid about the network. He's advising us to abandon all electronic means and invest everything into the Super Soldier program instead." An awkward silence filled the meeting room. Arnim Zola had been HYDRA's top expert in information technology— And yet, he had been completely terrified into submission by two consecutive defeats. "I have a question—if Zola can't even guarantee our information superiority anymore, then what use is he to us?" "Are you an idiot? Zola made it very clear—we kill that brat physically, and the digital world remains ours." "So, we need to double down on the Super Soldier program." "Yes, increase all related investments." "Can't we just send someone to kill him directly?" "Good question. But we have no guaranteed method of success. And every time we fail, our chances become even slimmer." "We must ensure a one-hit kill." One-hit kill. They all said that, but deep down, everyone scoffed. Hadn't they always been aiming for a one-hit kill? And yet... what had the results been? "Alright, then let's discuss increasing our investment." "Investment? We have no money left! All our banks have collapsed! We're still trying to recover the data!" HYDRA's so-called "Banker" leader looked utterly disheveled, his once-glistening hair now a tangled mess. His face turned red as he spoke. This wave of cyberattacks had ruined him the most. Leo's sonar system had been designed specifically to target HYDRA's signals. Naturally, the more concentrated HYDRA's network, the greater the damage. In cities like New York, where ctOS was installed, even bomb-like cyberattacks only caused a few seconds of overload. Other monitored institutions suffered some disruptions, but compared to HYDRA's catastrophic losses, it was nothing. And in Europe—where HYDRA-owned banks thrived on monitoring wealthy clients? Total collapse. The more valuable the servers, the worse the damage. Now they had no money for anything! HYDRA was broke! At the head of the table, Alexander Pierce rubbed his temples. After years of siphoning funds for the organization, one network failure had sent them straight back to square one. "What about our investors?" "They're... very unhappy. They're planning to pull out." "Pull out? We can't let them. Make some concessions." "Yes, yes, make some concessions." The atmosphere in the room remained grim. The HYDRA leaders kept their expressions blank, but morale was clearly low. After all, how could anyone stay motivated after getting utterly wrecked by an unseen cyberattack? After a moment of silence, Pierce spoke. "From now on, we will allocate all resources to Dr. Bruce Banner's Super Soldier program." No objections. Someone even raised their hand. "I propose that we not only increase funding but also push them to accelerate their progress. The longer this drags on, the more dangerous that brat becomes." Exactly. That was precisely why they refused to abandon Arnim Zola. Because Zola had been the first to warn them—long before anyone even noticed Leo. If only they had listened. Too bad. Too late.
