Mittelt snarled, her wings flaring as she prepared to lunge, but before she could launch herself, the other two grabbed her arms, holding her back. "Don't be an idiot!" One of them hissed. "His techniques are too dangerous—we need to report this to Lady Raynare first!" "Damn it!" Mittelt clenched her fists, her glare burning into Blake's calm expression. But in the end, she relented, turning to follow her comrades as they vanished into the night sky. Blake simply watched them leave, showing no interest in pursuit.
