They all lowered their eyes when Mabel walked in with a jewelry box in her hands. "Lift her veil," Mabel ordered the assistant, who quickly did it. Amelie wondered what was going to happen when Mabel opened the jewelry box in front of her. "This is the family necklace. Since you will become the first daughter-in-law of the Sinclair Family, I want to give it to you."
