If blood was to be shed, the Matsudaira must take the lead—otherwise, what was the point of having watchdogs? And, the Bai Chuan Pass front should immediately launch a probing attack. If the Danjo Chonosuke house’s main force had in fact left, this might be the best chance for a breakthrough—a chance to deal a decisive blow to the Oda Danjo Chonosuke family’s economic lifeline, Atsuta Harbor. Yes—keep the enemy pinned here and test the waters at Bai Chuan Pass first!
