They were slightly loose on her, but since it was winter and everyone wore more layers, it didn’t look that improper. Sunny glared at James and said, “These are from that female neighbor next door, right?” James admitted frankly, “Yeah. How else could I have gotten you clothes so quickly?” “You seem to have a pretty good relationship with your neighbor, to be able to borrow clothes from her.” James sensed a hint of jealousy in Sunny’s tone but ignored it, went back to his room to change, and then tidied up the bedding. He was quite attentive to life’s details, and his place was rarely messy. Sunny watched as James busied himself, her facial expression a bit odd. In her former home, her ex-husband had never lifted a finger to do any housework. Now, seeing this man, James, handling chores so methodically, she felt both novelty and a certain longing—an man who did housework must be a caring and good husband. But then Sunny was immediately startled by her own thought. She had just gotten divorced, so why was she thinking this?
