Yet, he could not remember; he couldn’t remember when he had removed those weights. He looked at the two old men with visible shock. “But I’m not wearing any bracelets either?” asked Axel in a trembling voice. His father said with a smile, “You may not know, but you’re grandfather was the single greatest Runecaster in all of human history. While father here is the greatest alchemist.” The butler interjected, “Alchemist with the greatest talent but not the greatest, not yet.” His father frowned at the butler and shot him an annoyed glance, but did not say anything and continued his explanation, “Think about all those artifacts I gave you.
