The Maiden: "My fate was sealed the day I was born, I am the Maiden. And as the Maiden I would be handed off to marry a member of the royal family. But unlike the past I was the first Maiden in centuries. There were five royal vampire brothers and only one of me. I was to be shared by the five brothers. I tried not to be afraid, I tried to be confident. I tried. But nothing would be as I hoped. Nothing would be as I accepted. In fact, things were much worse. As the Maiden I will belong to these five vampire brothers. However, I will be the next: Queen of Vampires. " ****************************************** Violet Velmont is an absolute delight, everything a young lady should be. She was gentle, quiet and kind. Despite her name, Violet's hair was long and pink. Her eyes, a soft pink. Submissive by nature, she hated confrontation and she lived to make people smile. She had the voice of an angel and a heart of gold. Violet was raised to be perfect, she was the Maiden after all. She'd been told her whole life was special and she would be loved. She was ready to be the wife of a vampire prince and she was excited to be a mother and have little princes and princess'. Violet was always kept away from vampire society; many of them having never seen her before, no one knew what she look like and her families identity was a secret. She went to a human school and had human friends because she was, afterall she was human. A human with pure vampire blood. Her blood was powerful and could drive other vampires crazy. She was to be protected. So poor Violet was ignorant to the horrors of the world. Ignorant to the world of Vampires. One she was to be apart of. Violet felt she had to be excited, because if she wasn't, she'd be afraid. She shouldn't be afraid she's been told that the five vampire princes were top notch gentlemen. and always conducted themselves accordingly. Distant and cold, yes, but well mannered. She was told she'd be perfectly safe living alone in a house with five men; however it was scary, even for someone as naïve as Violet, she knew some men could be monsters.
