Chapter 6 - 6: Nami Wants to Go to Sea! Even with Ryuen's help, the four of them were busy until evening to finish the day's work. Nami and Nojiko "Ah~" "Finally done, Bellemere, can I eat a lot of meat tonight?" Nami hopped like a little rabbit to Bellemere. "Sure~ I asked Genzo to buy meat early, tonight you can eat as much as you want~" Bellemere responded gently. Although she was tired from a whole day's work, seeing the bright smiles on the kids' faces made her feel happy too. "Yay! Let's go home quickly, Bellemere!" Hearing that she could eat a lot of meat today, Nami jumped up happily. "Nami, be careful, there are still tools on the ground!" Ryuen reminded her while quickly picking up the scattered tools. Usually, Genzo didn't eat at Bellemere's place. But today was special because Ryuen had woken up and become one of them. Meanwhile, the three kids were outside on the lawn, wiping three baskets of oranges to sell them for a good price the next morning. In the world of One Piece, the life of common people was just this simple. After a day's hard work, they could only manage to have enough to eat. Each island wasn't very big, resources were scarce, and some supplies had to be brought in by trade ships from other islands. But now that Ryuen was here, he would make sure they had meat to eat every day in the future! "Ryuen, since you can fly, can you take me flying too?" Nami asked quietly, her eyes twinkling. Nojiko, who was beside them, also perked up her ears to listen to Ryuen's reply. "Of course, but I don't know the directions, and I can't see a sea chart. If we get lost at sea, we won't be able to come back," Ryuen said softly. "I know the way, I know the way!" "Ryuen, take me flying in the future, let's go out to sea together, okay?" Nami was very excited. If Ryuen could take her out to sea, she could visit many islands and draw lots of sea charts! Ryuen realized, oh right, Nami was the best navigator! Otherwise, if he went to farther seas, he wouldn't be able to find his way. Ships in the Four Seas navigated using sea charts, unlike the Grand Line, which had Log Poses. Hearing Ryuen agree, Nami was very happy, and so was Nojiko. The three of them worked much faster after that. "Nami, Nojiko, Ryuen, dinner's ready!" Bellemere called from the door. "Yay!" "Dinner time!" "Alright! Coming!" the three kids answered in unison. They had just finished wiping the oranges, and Ryuen and Bellemere moved them into the storage. "Wow!" "So much meat!" Nami's eyes lit up as she looked at the pile of meat with bones. Once Ryuen and Bellemere sat down, the family started eating ravenously. There were even scenes of adults grabbing meat from kids and kids grabbing meat from adults. Ryuen felt so happy and warm experiencing this atmosphere for the first time, so he joined in the meat-grabbing. Everyone had a big appetite! After dinner, the three kids were so tired that they fell asleep right away. Bellemere just put the three little ones on one bed and left them there. Looking at the three kids sleeping with bubbles coming out of their noses, Bellemere showed a gentle smile.
