Gene smiled reassuringly, exuding a calmness that made the people around him feel slightly at ease. As the guests were evacuated in an orderly manner, Gene stepped into a sleek car belonging to Mason Industries. "I need to take care of something. I'll be back soon." A flash of golden light. The next moment, Gene had disappeared from the vehicle. Late Night – Norman Osborn's Mansion The night was deep, and the entire mansion was shrouded in darkness. The eerie silence made the whole house feel like a beast lying in wait, ready to devour anyone who dared to enter. Having finally shaken off that irritating Spider-Man, the Green Goblin returned to his residence. Frustrated, he ripped off his mask and suit, throwing them onto the floor with a furious snarl. Standing beside the fireplace was a tall, black-armored figure. The dim glow of the flames cast flickering shadows over the mysterious intruder. "Who are you?" Norman demanded, his voice laced with suspicion. The figure did not answer. But in the next moment— A pair of glowing red eyes ignited within the V-shaped visor. Before Norman could react, the shadowed figure suddenly vanished—and then reappeared directly in front of him! Even with his enhanced reflexes, Norman hadn't even seen how the figure moved! His eyes flickered to the countless explosives, bladed weapons, and combat gear surrounding him. Then, a twisted grin spread across his bloodied face. "Oh, now you're screwed." Several enhanced glider drones roared to life, shooting toward Gene's figure— BOOM! But before they could even get close— Gene simply raised his hand. A beam of pure energy erupted from his palm, instantly disintegrating the drones into burning scrap metal. Norman used the distraction to grab an entire handful of Pumpkin Bombs. With a wild grin, he hurled them toward Gene with all his might. "I don't care who you are—JUST DIE ALREADY!" The bombs soared through the air— And then— CLANG! They slammed into an invisible golden barrier, forming intricate, glowing magical patterns. The bombs detonated violently—but their explosive force was completely contained within the arcane seals. Norman's face drained of color. A creeping sense of horror filled his mind. "What… what the hell are you?!" His voice trembled with desperation. The black-armored figure slowly stepped forward. "This is just a personal vendetta." His voice was cold. Merciless. Absolute. "I'm here to kill you." FWOOSH! A pillar of fire erupted, consuming Norman Osborn entirely. His last scream was filled with rage, fear, and unwillingness— "NOOOOOO!!!" As the flames roared, his body was obliterated, incinerated to nothing.
