Chapter 47 of "I Am Cultivating in the Apocalypse" starts with dramatic events: "@everyone, save my child first! I’m begging you!" Some of the people who were sound asleep... Discover what happens!

"@everyone, save my child first! I’m begging you!" Some of the people who were sound asleep were still woken up by the noise. "I’ll help you tag Lu Song as not yet moved in. Someone call him if you have his number and get him to pick someone up, no matter the cost. What’s the patient’s room number? I’m heading over now," said Wang Qiqi in the group chat. "We’re in building 13, room 501." Wang Dazhao1: "I have his number. I just called Lu Song to come and save someone. He said it’s 60,000 yuan to risk his life going out, or he won’t come. The last few times I took his black-market ride, he overcharged." I have a baby sent a weak voice message, "Give it, we’ll pay. Please ask him to come quickly!" Wang Dazhao1: "Then you all hang in there. It will take at least half an hour for him to come from the city." Wang Cuihua sent a voice message: "People these days are crazy for money." The chat ended there. These messages were from a few minutes ago. Jing Shu went downstairs to Mr. Jing’s bedroom to listen and heard nothing inside. Adults might hold on, but it would be hard for children. Children are the hope for life to carry on, especially in the apocalypse. Even someone like me, accustomed to life and death, hopes more children can survive. Besides, for me, it’s a simple effort to save a family of three. With this in mind, Jing Shu sent a message while quickly putting on her clothes. She smeared on Wind Oil Essence and fully geared up in a bodysuit, ensuring her own safety first so as not to create any additional trouble while saving others. "@Wang Dazhao1, call that guy and tell him he doesn’t need to come." "@I have a baby, I have an energy vehicle and can take you to the hospital now for free. Just come downstairs; I’ll be waiting at Building 13. @Wang Qiqi, please follow and take care of them." Jing Shu’s message exploded in the group like a bombshell, creating a huge stir. Wang Dazhao1: "@Xiao Shu’s Villa District, okay, I’m on it! The energy car is yours? Impressive!" Wang Cuihua sent a voice message: "There are still good people. I hope the child is alright." Jing Shu also smeared Wind Oil Essence onto the car’s headlights. Just then, Wang Qiqi, a chubby, dark-complexioned woman, came downstairs holding the baby and supporting the parents, whose hair was disheveled and faces haggard and darkened. The mother had already cried herself into a mess. Jing Shu hurriedly helped them into the car, and the group of five rushed to the closest hospital, with Jing Shu flooring the gas pedal all the way. "Just you alone?" Wang Qiqi was surprised. They had looked so ordinary before, but now they seem extraordinary! They’re the only ones in the whole district with an energy car, living in a villa yet so unpretentious. And they’re willing to risk their safety to transport people in critical moments without asking for compensation. It just proves the saying: Sometimes the richer people are, the more cultured they appear to be. "My mom has to get up for work at four, so I didn’t want to disturb her. I alone am enough," Jing Shu replied. The energy car would switch to gasoline above 60 mph, and now its speed had soared to 110 mph. The young couple’s focus was entirely on their child, so they didn’t notice, but Wang Qiqi did. Being smart, she said nothing, not even asking if Jing Shu’s car had enough fuel at such a time. Soon she was distracted again. The clean bodysuit Jing Shu wore wrapped her tightly. She also noticed the neat and clean car seats and the faint scent of Wind Oil Essence. Wang Qiqi discreetly lifted her own buttocks, trying her best to keep her dirty self away from the clean seat, hoping to save herself some embarrassment. "You can sit down; it’s okay." Jing Shu slammed on the brakes, swerved around a corner, and then floored the gas pedal again, causing Wang Qiqi to crash into the door frame. In pain, Wang Qiqi opened her mouth wide, feeling even more embarrassed, and gently sat down on the cursed seat. They quickly arrived at the nearest Yuewen Hospital. The lights, which shone all night, attracted countless Black Fungus Beetles flying above, while night patrols continuously sprayed insecticide. After passing through two security checks, Jing Shu led the group into the entrance. She then understood what Mrs. Jing meant by "there really are no spaces left." It was so crowded that people couldn’t even move their feet; they had to shuffle forward by squeezing through. The hospital wasn’t loud; no one dared to speak loudly. A large liquid crystal display showed: "Those who exceed 50 decibels more than twice will be asked to leave the hospital, except for infants. Patients in critical condition, please register for emergency treatment immediately." Perhaps the reason no one dares to speak loudly, Jing Shu mused, is because most people have no idea what 50 decibels actually sounds like. Like me—I’m not academically inclined, so I don’t know either. However, Jing Shu was still stunned. Seeing so many people standing while holding their own IV drips is a spectacular sight! The security guard, an older woman, at the entrance pulled aside the bewildered family, handed them a number ticket with "098" written on it, and pointed to a window, telling them to wait in line. The couple was on the verge of crying, but Jing Shu quickly explained. "This child is in critical condition; we need an emergency number." Jing Shu showed the unconscious child to the older female security guard, who then allowed Jing Shu, carrying the child and followed by the feeble couple, to be taken to the critical care area. Wang Qiqi stayed behind to wait for news on the general admission number and would inform Jing Shu when there was an update. On the way to the critical care area, the couple sobbed and quietly thanked Jing Shu. The situation in the critical care area was much more dire. People were lying in all directions: some had already passed away, some were on the brink of death, and some were still fighting for their lives. It was chaotic, and the doctors, their eyes bloodshot, were clearly facing yet another all-nighter. Fortunately, a doctor soon came to check on the child. Without saying much, they began a series of life-saving treatments, ending by hanging an IV drip and remarking, "If he doesn’t wake up in half an hour, the chances of survival will be very low." Then the doctor turned to treat another patient behind them, who was also afflicted with a viral cold. Everyone here was either an emergency case or near death; the doctors didn’t even have time to talk. The mother, whose username was "I have a baby," fainted on the spot, causing more commotion and leaving Jing Shu alone in the noisy hospital to watch over Little Tuanzi. Jing Shu was all too familiar with such surroundings: the eyes filled with despair, the numbing tears... In my previous life, Mrs. Jing also suffered a severe heatstroke. After being rushed to the hospital and treated, we could only leave it to fate. Luckily, she survived. I’m truly grateful to heaven and earth for that. Half an hour was about to pass. Jing Shu shifted her gaze to look carefully at the child. Although he’s a bit dirty, he’s still quite cute, she thought, but at the moment, his face is pale, his eyes closed, utterly unconscious. After thinking it over, she fed the child some diluted Spiritual Spring. Ten more minutes passed without any reaction. After more than forty minutes with still no sign of waking, she sighed. It’s a long shot, but I have to try, she thought, and carefully administered a full drop of Spiritual Spring to the child. Then, less than five minutes later, a sudden WAAAH! of crying echoed throughout the critical care room. Jing Shu was somewhat caught off guard. The doctor came back for another check, puzzled, saying, "The medicine shouldn’t work this quickly. How did he recover? You can start feeding him now." Jing Shu hurriedly fed the baby a whole bottle of milk, but he still wasn’t satisfied. After they had finished all the food the couple had brought in their bag, the child was still hungry. This must be the effect of the Spiritual Spring, Jing Shu knew. So Spiritual Spring can actually save lives! Jing Shu realized. This accident seemed to have led her to a remarkable discovery.
