"Hidden Phoenix Bloodline!"
Elder Mo Chen, with his vast experience, could immediately discern Lin Ning’s origins.
"It’s actually the Hidden Phoenix Bloodline!"
He exclaimed twice in astonishment and swiftly rushed over.
Bloodline awakenings were quite common in the Immortal Realm.
However, there is a hierarchy in bloodlines.
The Hidden Phoenix Bloodline is clearly among the top tier, incredibly rare even in the Immortal Realm!
When he first saw Ji Linghan, he was secretly amazed. The Seven-Aperture Exquisite Body is also considered an upper-class talent in the Immortal Realm.
He couldn’t believe that the Sect Leader had such a disciple.
Truly worthy of being called the Child of the Plane, naturally attracting the followings of top talents.
Now seeing the Hidden Phoenix Bloodline, he was even more shocked.
The fortune of the ’Child of the Plane’ is astounding!
These two girls, even if they entered the Immortal Realm, would be contested by major forces.
And yet, they had been taken in while still in the Lower Realm.
"What, you know about the Hidden Phoenix Bloodline?"
"Of course, her bloodline hasn’t fully awakened, simply because she hasn’t practiced any Dark Element Techniques..."
Jiang Cheng silently agreed. When he used Insight to examine Lin Ning earlier, the system had a similar remark.
"Do you have any Dark Element Techniques?"
"Absolutely!"
Mo Chen rubbed his hands, his eyes fixed on Lin Ning as if looking at a treasure.
"Surely the Sect Leader hasn’t forgotten my title? Dark Urgency, Dark Urgency, my primary cultivation is actually in Dark Element Techniques."
"If the Sect Leader is willing, I would gladly take her as my disciple and teach her with dedication!"
His words were entirely sincere.
This was the Hidden Phoenix Bloodline! If she were trained and brought into the Immortal Realm, her future achievements would surpass that of her master.
It was like finding another strong support for his future!
Lin Ning would definitely have a better development if she became his disciple, and Jiang Cheng would have no objections.
"Alright, but we still need to ask Xiaohan’s opinion."
After all, she is Lin Ning’s current master.
"I have no objections either."
Ji Linghan nodded her agreement without hesitation as well.
She initially hurried to take Lin Ning as her disciple just to prevent her from becoming Jiang Cheng’s pupil.
As for Lin Ning becoming Mo Chen’s disciple, she had no issues with that.
"I do not agree!"
Lin Ning listened for a while and realized the Sect Leader intended to pass her off to someone else again, and she was not pleased.
"Do you not want me by your side, I’ve grown up now, I’m no less than them!"
She released Brother Cheng’s arm, patted her own chest, and her eyes reddened.
Having matured over seventy years within the Xuanji Map.
In the Soul Splitting Realm, she could maintain her youthful appearance, having fixed her state at the age of 20.
Brother Cheng felt helpless. Girl, it’s not like we’re parting ways for good, do we need to be this dramatic?
"This Elder Mo has also joined our sect, so we can still see each other every day."
Lin Ning was relentless: "But you promised me before that as long as I surpassed Ji Linghan, you’d take me as your disciple!"
Brother Cheng thought to himself, when did I promise that, wasn’t it all just your assumptions?
Moreover, you haven’t surpassed Ji Linghan yet.
Seeing Lin Ning still looking very aggrieved, he could only formally promise her something.
"How about this, if you can surpass Elder Mo Chen’s peak cultivation, I will certainly take you as my disciple, no going back on my word!"
"Really?"
"All disciples can testify!" Brother Cheng declared grandly.
The crowd secretly thought, you’re setting a trap here.
Lin Ning had just come out of the Xuanji Map and didn’t even know Elder Mo was an Immortal.
She probably thought with her talent, she could surpass him in a few years.
"Alright then!"
Lin Ning’s mood finally changed from worry to joy.
After meeting Mo Chen, she respectfully bowed and performed the disciple ceremony.
Mo Chen was beaming, having gained such a peerless talent, he was overjoyed.
At this moment, Ah Huang transmitted a message.
"Mom, mom, the Fragment! The Fragment is coming!"
"Huh? Sweetie, what did you say?"
"There’s another fragment, it’s already in the Feixian Sect, mom must get it!"
"Huh?"
Jiang Cheng was a bit confused. Could the World Heart Fragment have grown legs?
Could it have entered the Feixian Sect on its own?
Soon after, everyone heard the sounds of drumming and music coming from the distant sky.
Raising their eyes, they were nearly frightened to death.
They saw a spirit bird, wholly white, spanning several thousand meters, gracefully flying towards them.
Surrounding the spirit bird were hundreds of armored warriors.
Along the way, petals continually fell like gentle rain, resplendent and colorful.
The Feixian Sect didn’t have a Sect Protection Array or gatekeeper disciples, so their entry was unimpeded.
Mo Chen skillfully came over to provide the Sect Leader with a briefing.
"That’s a Li Luan, a Tier Six Spirit Beast, though it’s not adept in combat, which makes it easy to capture and use as a mount."
While he couldn’t bring himself to flatter like other disciples, he was adept at seizing chances to display his professional prowess.
Jiang Cheng nodded, unable to help feeling a bit envious.
No matter the spirit bird’s combat power, what mattered was the grandeur!
If used for showing off, it would easily score an extra 66 points at least.
As the Li Luan approached, it obscured the sky, darkening the heavens.
Only then did everyone notice that not just one person was on the back of the Li Luan, but over a hundred.
In the center was a young, beautiful lady, donned in vibrant attire, surrounded by colorful shades of veils. Her pink narcissus scattered floral dress, over which lay a gold-threaded thin veil.
With a pearl and jade hairpin inserted into her low-braided hair, her stunning face came into view as they closed in.
On the Li Luan’s back was a delicately designed open-air palace, where she calmly sat.
Eight graceful palace maids attended her, while behind, music played by flutes and zithers, all performed by palace maids.
A hundred palace guards in bright silver armor surrounded them as they escorted the convoy.
"These must be people from the Qianxing Dynasty!" Luo Yuan wasn’t very sure.
The others, as if reminded, immediately reacted.
"Indeed, this lady seems to be Princess Ningti."
"No way, is it really her?"
"Could she really visit our Feixian Sect? Are we not dreaming?"
"My goodness, she is the number one cultivation genius of the Qianxing Dynasty!"
Except for Ji Linghan, who was raised by the former Sect Leader, the other disciples of the Feixian Sect all hailed from nearby regions, and were part of the Qianxing Dynasty Realm.
Before entering the sect, they were under the dynasty’s jurisdiction in the Mortal World.
Therefore, even though they were unfamiliar with the Eight Clouds Hall, they were very knowledgeable about the more distant Qianxing Dynasty.
Princess Ningti was known as the dynasty’s most famous celestial prodigy, with unparalleled talent.
They had heard of her for many years, never forgetting.
Seeing her arrival filled them with shock, and they even felt flattered.
To describe it, it was like suddenly having a superstar you heard about in childhood show up in front of you.
However, this grand-entrance star soon encountered a bit of a situation.
The normally stable-flying Li Luan suddenly panicked before it could land.
It cried out repeatedly, shaking wildly, seemingly trying to flee the area. Even with Princess Ningti and surrounding guards trying to control it, they couldn’t calm it down.
And the palace maidens’ faces turned pale with fright, letting out delicate cries.
"It’s because of that tiger; its tier is too high, its aura is frightening the Li Luan."
No need for Jiang Cheng to ask, the ’Personal Grandmaster’ Mo Chen tactfully provided the explanation.
