Soon after— Chen Mo came to a stop, using the dense forest cover to conceal himself. He leapt onto the wide branch of an ancient tree, his gaze fixed on the scene playing out hundreds of meters ahead in mid-air—and he was stunned. A massive Magic Beast loomed in the sky. It stood three to four zhang tall, its entire body encased in a crystalline violet armor. Its head was that of a ferocious lion, with blood-red eyes glowing with a strange purple hue. Its fanged jaws gaped wide, and atop its lion head was a fiery red spiral horn, wreathed in flickering violet flames. On either side of its colossal form were a pair of immense purple wings. This awe-inspiring beast—undeniably the Purple Crystal Winged Lion King—was locked in battle with a woman clad in an elegant teal dress, her long hair a soft lavender. The woman wielded a longsword, her aura noble and graceful, though she was clearly at a disadvantage. "Yun Yun?" Chen Mo’s eyes widened. Wasn’t this a scene from years later in the original timeline? Why was it happening now? "Ultimate Wind—Falling Slash!" Yun Yun cried, her voice sharp and clear as she unleashed a brilliant azure beam from her sword.
