214 From Now On, You Are My Woman Yvanna brought Alaric to her treehouse which was located near the river. When looking from her window, one could see the beauty of the river and the tranquility of the forest. "This is my treehouse. I asked Neo to build this for me when I was young. Only three people know this place other than me. You are the fourth." Yvanna said as she opened the door. The interior of her treehouse was simple with no extravagant features. Every piece of furniture was well-organized, giving the treehouse a clean look. The decoration in her treehouse perfectly represented Yvanna's personality, simple yet elegant. "The view here is beautiful," Alaric remarked as he looked outside her window. Yvanna pointed to a vacant seat and gestured for him to sit down as she asked. "What do you want to tell me?" Alaric didn't sit down. He walked toward Yvanna, stopped in front of her, and whispered. "Do you like me?" Yvanna jolted in surprise. She didn't expect him to ask her this in such a straightforward manner. "I..." She stammered and averted her gaze to hide her blushing cheeks. However, Alaric noticed that her ears were reddening. He leaned forward and moved his face closer to her. "Yvanna, you cannot hide it from me." The elven princess panicked when she felt his warm breath blowing into her face. "W-What do you mean? I do not understand what y-you are saying." She didn't dare look at him in the eye. The elven princess didn't know how to react when she heard his sweet words.
