Between the dark trees, green ghostly fires could occasionally be seen drifting through the air, groups of bats flying past with "screech screech" sounds, creating a terrifying atmosphere. Placed in such a horrific environment, of the three, the two male disciples fared better, whereas Dong Lin, with her once delicate complexion, had turned notably pale, evidently unaccustomed to such a gloomy place. Upon arriving there, the surrounding yin energy was noticeably thicker than before, as if a layer of black fog drifted in the air, vibrating with a predatory nature, seemingly exerting a subtle suppression on True Qi. "This place is a bit sinister, be careful and don’t make any noise." Ye Xuan sensed something was amiss here.
