He simply lay down on the bed, without turning off the lights, and slowly fell asleep with a weary expression. Faint breathing echoed in the room as the night grew darker and the rain grew heavier. Soft light filled the entire room, reflecting a faint halo on the bed, walls, and carpet, seemingly exposing all darkness.
