Did she believe him or not? “You stay at home, I’m going out for a bit,” Rong Yan said as she stood up and walked out. Once she left, Qin Mei whispered, “Second brother, are we really going to school?” Qin Yu tried to comfort her, “Don’t worry, perhaps the sister-in-law will forget by then...” This was said to his sister, but it sounded more like he was reassuring himself.
