The other two had already broken down earlier without any noise. Cale was not hurt. The black swamp had disappeared, but everything else remained normal. Cale turned his head to see that Paseton had fallen on his butt with the kittens in his arms. He could also see Witira getting back up while holding onto a tree trunk.
