He turned his head slightly, showing his neat upper teeth, and looked at me. “Hersel, it’s good to see you again.” The complex charisma in his voice made me feel a sense of reverence, and I closed my tired eyes. The man standing before me was Aol Ben Tenest, one of the strongest in the Asares world. With him back at the mansion, there was nothing more for me to do.
